    Do you really doubt the power of water? I don't even want water blast sets. I am more interested in armor and melee powers.
    And it will either never happen or not happen with the current tech they have. It has been said, by the Devs that are in charge of powers and animation, that elastic limbs and water, to name but a few, are not possible with the current engine and resources. Ergo, it will not happen.

    Just to nitpick;

    - Completely new content
    - Completely new mobs, multiple of
    - Completely new costume pieces
    - Completely new tilesets and maps made from them
    - Completely new zones
    - Completely new power sets, including new enemy powers

    Perhaps more importantly;

    - Completely new graphics system (Ultra Mode)
    - Completely new coding and game mechanics (Side switching, and any unannounced stuff they have yet to spring on us)

    Really, that doesn't seem like a SMALL ammount of work. The past issues were a zone, maybe two. Tops. They had all the old tilesets, maybe one or two enemy groups. But nothing on this scale. I think people are really belittling just how much work has and is still going into GR here.

    /nitpick

    The eye auras and sashes I think should be Kheld specific. For the eye auras, they are a unique colour, one that only corresponds to the kheldian powers. Now, yes, some people might use other sets to represent 'Nictus powers' or suchnot, like Dark, but in that case the powers colours can be more easily matched to a normal eye aura, whereas Khelds cannot change their power colours, thus making normal eye auras look wierd.
    The sashes are the option of something akin to the VEAT Arachnos uniforms, a special costume that relates to what they are. Some people dont like being forced to have the Armour/Widow gear, and I agree that chocie is a better thing, so making it a unique Kheldian option is another thing to just add a little spice.

    The Void Hunter kit, however, Id love to see as a general option for everyone.

    Wheeeerrrrr

    The length and pitch of the PB sound is just another reason why I cant play PBs. My WS is getting on just fine, as their sounds are shorter and a deeper pitch, one that doesnt give me a migraine.

    The PB sounds are too loud and high pitched, especially given the length means they can stack.
  9. Just a few little things, one of which I know is a repeat of an oft asked for piece;

    1: Kheldian eye auras. The NPC's have them. Even Voids get the WS eye aura. We get them when we use powers. Going on the logic that the Kheldians unique costume change emote is exactly the same as the form-shift animation, is it too large a gap to ask for the eye auras as costume pieces?

    2: Kheldian Sashes. This is the oft requested one. PPD Kheldians, Sunstorm and Shadowstar all have them. Again, just a little bit of flavour to add to Kheldian characters.

    3: Void Hunter Uniform. Now, this one might seem a bit wierd. But the Void hunters have some rather snazzy unique costume parts to them that would be rather nice if they were unlockable, maybe as an achievement for beating a number of the little vermin. The unique parts they have are the aforementioned WS eye aura, the holsters on left arm and both legs, and unique colours and patterns on their spandex and reaper masks.

    Two tone reaper mask would, I think, be nice as a global option, not just on khelds, as would the colour and patterns on the spandex. Just a few little touches to Khelds that would, IMO, be a nice edition.

    No.
    Because the problem with zones like Perez Park, Dark Astoria and Boomtown is there is next to no content in them. You get sent there on one off mission, usually from the other end of the city.

    Simple version; Brand new content...in zones that are already there. Because there is next to nothing in them.

    I'd love to nearly mute the powers on Peacebringers, so I could actually have anotehr crack at playing one. I hate turning down or muting the game sounds, but I cant play a PB because of the long whine of nearly every attack.
    Same goes for any power that loops, like arctic chill, or some of the toggle AoEs.

    Dark Control

    Hmm. Here's my (somewhat inexpert) take on it;

    Quote:
    Controller/Dominator Praimary: Dark Control

    You have the ability to bend dark energies to your will. Maybe you tap into the shadowy Nether Realm, or some other dark magic, or maybe you can manipulate anti-matter or other dark energy by some other means. Your attacks all bring with them the choking darkness, making it harder for enemies to hit you.

    Tier 1: Cage of Darkness: Moderate Damage (Neg), Immob (Mag 4), -ToHit, -Fly

    Tier 2: Grasp of Night: Moderate Damage (Neg), Hold (Mag 3), -ToHit, -Fly

    Tier 3: Tenebrous Tentacles: Targeted AoE, Minor Damage (Neg) Immob (Mag 3), -ToHit, -Fly

    Tier 4: Choking Blackness: Targeted AoE, -ToHit, -Perception

    Tier 5: Crushing Abyss: Location AoE, Minor DoT (Neg), -Spd, -Fly, -Jump, -Teleport

    Tier 6: Dark Pit: Targeted AoE, Minor Damage (Neg), Stun, -ToHit

    Tier 7: Midnight Chasm: Location AoE, Hold (Mag 3), -ToHit, -Fly

    Tier 8: Eternal Chill: Targeted AoE, -Regen, -Recovery, -End

    Tier 9: Shadow Walker: Summon Walker, Melee Heavy Damage (Neg)
    Main focus; Mez, same as any controller set, and some added -ToHit, along with a few general crippling effects. Stuff to bring the enemy mobs below par. *shrug*
  14. I know for sure that nothing is prying me from my fortress on Union, even if they merged the server list. And Union is far from dead. It'd be nice to have a slight influx though, although I have noticed a number of new players recently.

    T'be honest, though, 8 of any one AT will tend to be devastating, because there is so much focussed power.

    Scrappers/Blasters/'Hitty' teams; so much damage output that its hard to die, cos mobs are dying so fast.

    Defender/Corr teams; Buff/Debuff and blasts all combined

    Tanks/Brutes; Decent damage and heavy shielding.

    8 of anything that works in unison is a potentially killer combo =]

  19. For most of my characters, I totally detach them from the patron arcs.
    My main, Alpha, didnt get 'given' any technology by Black Scorpion. Him getting his more advanced shielding just 'coincided' with that level. I.E. something he had been working on anyway. Although maybe beating the snot outta Scorpion might have given him some ideas

    My Stalker, for example, has studied the dark arts and suchnot, despite being technology origin. He's a cybernetically enhanced soldier from WW2, but one who studied a number of subjects during the war, mostly as use for countering various opponents. His dark mastery are just an extension of that, and Im lumbered with the level gate on them, sadly. Ghost widow, for me at least, frankly has nothing to do with it.

    Dont let yourself be limited by enforced mechanics that are not fun, really.
  20. Hasten, SS, the wierd jet effect when hover, fly, CJ and SJ are active...I'd love to get rid of ALL of them. They, for the most part, look quite ugly. I dont need some eyesore to remind me I have powers on.
  21. /Unsigned, thanks. I really dont see this being anything more than trouble.
