If you don't mind doing a bit of fiddling, there is actually a pretty straightforward way to eliminate this problem, so that you can make or play with PBs without headaches.
Check out this thread: How to silence specific game sounds. I know that the peacebringer attack sound was brought up several times in that thread, so you should definitely be able to get rid of it.

My input/requests is just as good as your as I spend $15 Just like you do.
I might be a bit of a loon but the sounds are part of the reason I love my PB. I also use the sound as an indicator of how I'm doing. If I'm playing well and attacking often I get a nice ringing sound for the whole fight. If I'm off my game or distracted the sound varies.
Well those sounds were giving me a headache so my ws has been sitting on 24 for a year now. I don't like to turn the volume all the way down cause I miss tells and glowies then. So thanks for that I might get back to my ws after demons and gr.
The length and pitch of the PB sound is just another reason why I cant play PBs. My WS is getting on just fine, as their sounds are shorter and a deeper pitch, one that doesnt give me a migraine.
The PB sounds are too loud and high pitched, especially given the length means they can stack.

Yeah it's better thats why I got to 24 but now I can't take the constant stomping sound of brute form and I don't like human only build.

Killing off that sound was the only way I could tolerate my PB at all. Still deleted him again at 30 something. After deleting him at 50.

Yes, I think I speak for everyone when I say. Uhm, WHY DO I HAVE TO MAKE THIS NOISE WITH EVERY ACTION I DO? I activate a shield WHEEEERRR, I blast of a power WHEEEERR, I SNEEZE WHEEEERRRR, I READ SPORTS ILLUSTRATED WHEEEERRR. It's not so bad at level 1.
