The Big Know It All Book states that the 4 most frequently landed upon spots on the board are the 4 Railroads, with a 64% chance of landing on one during a pass of the board.
[/ QUOTE ]Trick. Did not word the question properly. That is the most frequently landed upon set, not the four most frequently landed upon spots. -

1. What are the 4 most landed upon spaces in the game Monopoly?
[/ QUOTE ]Illinois Avenue, New York Avenue, B&O Railroad, and Reading Railroad
[/ QUOTE ]Oooh, close, but not what I was looking for.
If I were one to give hints, I might say you're half right.

That's the shadow shard lighting...looks like the ski chalet.
Very cute! Although her eye gives me the creeps a little bit since the iris is not defined. :x -
I'm amused that everyone's calling them kid versions, instead of chibis.

I was a lil lost on what was going on, primarily because I read it as if she was about to stab herself with a sword. D:
[/ QUOTE ]Look again. She's got a quiver over her shoulder that she's reaching into, and the "sword" she's carrying is a bow. -
I got two artses done recently for Aggelakis -
freebie from Akiokun, here
quickie commish from X0NI, here
I'm playing the waiting game on two more commissions, one from Spookeriffic and one from mainasha, so I'm extremely excited! Sadly, it means I'll be done commissioning for a little while, because I spent all of my 'mad money' (my monthly allowance I give myself for frivolous purchases).
Well, September is only a few weeks away! LOL -
I agree with the shoulder and head/neck move. I am unsure about the eye, because it's seated properly over the cheekbone. I think it actually might be the nose, which should be 3/4 view instead of profile. If we can see part of the other eye socket over the ridge, and around the "bow" part of the bottom of his lip, we shouldn't be seeing a profile of his nose.
That is HIGHLY nitpicky, though, because really unless you LOOK CLOSE, you don't see it.
This is BEAUTIFUL. -
@uziel 21 saw the OP elsewhere and gave it an incredible go.
"I went with the "Nazi+Costumed Villain+Statesman's Mask & Red Cape+Vampire" formula. The cut of the costume (not the colors and details) - now that I'm done with it - reminds me of a cross between Destro and Cobra Commander...
Too much Hasbro as a kid, I guess."
(He didn't want to post it here himself because he made it for the LJ community, but gave the OK for someone else to post it.)
(I applied a little brightness & contrast, because I couldn't even see it, it was so dark: somewhat lighter here - but I couldn't go too far because it was losing detail and becoming pixelated.) -
There's no 'l' - waffen (waffe, singular) are arms/weaponry. Vergeltungswaffe...umm. Basically, retaliation weaponry. I think it's a WW2 term.

That pose cries out for some "artistic license" on the size of the...um...chest slider.
[/ QUOTE ]For the love of god, if this happens, change the costume and don't call it Aggelakis. Her chest slider is minimum for a reason. -
Class uses periods, id uses hashmarks.
So for instance:
p.stuff = <p class=stuff>
p#stuff = <p id=stuff>
To be W3C compliant, use id when there is only one occurrence per page. Use class when there's one or more (aka anytime; this is why I just always use class). -
Aggelakis is empathy/archery/power mastery defender and I am always interested in arts.

Sure there is!
Just click on 'Download' if that is available, if not you might have to right-click and select View Image, but either way you're bound to get a URL like that that you can directly link to.
Though I would REALLY DISCOURAGE this practice, as it makes it practically impossible to comment on the picture or find the artist who did it and it's just bad form if you ask me.
[/ QUOTE ]
Okay, I checked it out. I logged out and tried pulling up an image that way and it worked so that is always an option. I'm sure those that are members can figure out a way to get to the artist's page if they want to fave.

Not unless they're told or the artist... y'know. Signed the pic or something. And who knows if the image is on the user's gallery or on the artist's gallery?
[/ QUOTE ]
The image is called by some gobbledegook, followed by the title, followed by the uploader. In this case,
http://fc05.deviantart.com/fs31/f/20...by_Rowrsie.jpg
some gobbledegook
titled "Rowr by Daggerpoint-Schoolgirl"
uploaded by Rowrsie
So you can always find who uploaded it, though until you find the image in the uploader's gallery, you don't know the artist (unless familiarly/obviously watermarked/signed) -

Nice stuff you have going there! As far as future commissions go, a great place to start is here:
Thors Assassin List of Artists
A lot of artists with samples of their work.
[/ QUOTE ]Thank you for that link! A lot of those dates are from Jan/Feb...is there a more updated link, or are those dates still valid?
EDIT: I just saw I'm at 10034...I really, truly hope my Cartel Ding was a worthwhile post. >.>
EDIT2: Counting backwards in my post history, it looks like my last post in this thread was 10k. -
Thanks all! I get so excited when I think about getting new arts. Now it's just a matter of narrowing down who do I commish first!
-
This is my first time posting here...I kept meaning to...but I'd get distracted and forget.
My main is Aggelakis, Empathy/Archery/Power Mastery Defender, on the Justice server. She's not terribly active over there anymore outside of Hamidon Thursdays. However, she was my first hero, my first 50, and remains my favorite character ever. As such, I finally got around to commissioning a couple people for artses! (and I got one as a thank-you for sticking through a grueling Posi TF). Technically, the commissions were done a while ago and the thank-you was a couple weeks ago now, but...as previously mentioned with the distraction and the forgetting...here I go now.
The first one I got was from @kwsapphire, on the boards as [some name I forget]: here
The second one was from @Liz, on the boards as syrusb: here
The third was a thank-you from @uziel21 for sticking through a five-hour Positron Task Force with two (three?) nooblets and Uz, who had just returned to the game after a long break: here
I was just FLOORED by this one, seriously, since really I would have done that TF even without such an awesome gift in return. ("No words, should have sent a poet" was the phrase I used.)
I have been lurking this subforum for a while and have been seeing far too many artists I need to save my pennies for. There are some PHENOMENAL artists here in this game. -
Critters in CoH do not aggro spawns that are not part of their own spawn when they run through/by another spawn, unless they have a player's debuff toggle on them (like Radiation Infection).
-
You rednames really need muzzles. :P Verify, then post! Verify, then post! So much crapstorming can be saved on these boards if you did that. :P
-
Once they are in the "redeem" space, you will never lose them, essentially.
You must log in within the gift window to get them placed in your redeem space. Log in after the gift window and you will not get two freebies to redeem. -

To those complaining that they can't claim slots, remember that the free ones could only be claimed for a short amount of times while veteran and purchased slots have no limit.
[/ QUOTE ]Completely incorrect. I have friends who are still sitting on (all of) their freebies, meaning the i12 slots plus whatever vet slots they have. You were only AWARDED THEM temporarily, but you will have ACCESS to them FOREVER. They function just like purchased or vet reward slots. In two years, if CoX is still here and if you hadn't added a slot anywhere, you would still have your i12 freebies.
