AOW MONTHLY 25 MILLION COSTUME CONTEST- First saturday of each month at 7pm est. in Atlas Park under the Atlas Satue.

This sg was formed Dec. 15th/07 and Jan. 1st the first AOW event was started and prevails to this day.

The purpose of this event was to get the public interested in making better costumes and getting people together to chat and make new friends.

Since then we have included the Under Level 20 CC and Biography contest to make it fair to new heroes and those who like to write great bios. Both these events have a top prize of 10 Million.

All 3 contests have a top 10 list of winners and you can win all 3 events.

To make the event fair a second judge from outside AOW is asked to help. The judge each month is from a different sg, so no one can say a specific alliance has been formed.

We do not recruit during an event, this is for the public to enjoy each others company.

We had a monthly PvP Event and a Monthly Gladiator Event. The PvP Event was stopped because of a lack of interest (only 2-8 people showed up each month). If enough interest is shown, AOW is willing to host the event again 2nd sat. of each month at 7pm est.

The Gladiator Event had lots of ppl show up but who could not really compete because of a lack of gladiators. My 3 Shivans, 3 Freakshow Tanks, and deadly Cog ruled for months until Flafatron showed up with Longbow Warden 2's, Swift Steels, and Crane Enforcers which then ruled from then on. Before this event can be brought back, ppl will need to work together to get gladiators so no one person rules consistantly. If there is an interest in gladiators again, we will restart this event as well 3rd sat. of each month at 7pm est.

The times listed is for my convenience, i am sure others want events at another time, we will need someone else who is a leader to host events at other times.

If anyone has an idea for an event and wants our help, let us know in this thread!

Cause The last time I checked, if you took a trip into a "PVP ZONE" a big warning pops up that roughly says " WARNING: you take your [censored] in here, prepare to have your [censored] attacked" Now it might not say that EXACTLY... I have had many many complaints about your members!
Just listen to your members in Atlas on broadcast and you will see what i mean.

As long as your members solicit AOW members and attack them in PvP zones, no member of DarkGuard is allowed on any of my teams. Sorry but no one would allow this behavour against their sg, do not think we will allow it either!

I have to say I agree with Azrhiaz, I also gave up on bases... Why would they worry about fixing something that 3/4 of the people out there "think" is broken? All the whinners on champion server do is pull out their same ole crap... "lol, base raiding" They firmly believe it was still bugged.
I as leader of P.o.N Have taken part in over 200 base raids, and have not experienced a single "bug" since maybe around i8 or i9. Yet the haters continue to hate.
As a group, P.o.N misses base raiding badly. With a member base that excedes most sg's (we have 6 divisions, with 425 members throughout) We would on a WEEKLY basis set up raids against ourselves, division vs division if we could not find a raid against an outside sg. We loved it... always had a blast.
I have begged and begged, and I will say it all again....

PLEASE BRING BACK THE C.O.P. TRIAL.... BUT ABOVE ALL ELSE, AT LEAST GIVE US BACK OUR BASE RAIDING!!!!

I think this is a great idea.... Tanker Tuesdays has been one of the longest running, most fun events held on a continuing basis Since I started this game.
Anything I could do to help this in anyway, I would be glad to be part of.

is scribe still even playing the game? Havent seen or heard anything on this, and have been sending results on matches as we were supposed to..... anyone know?

so any word if they are retro-refunding us the millions of prestige we spent on rent over the last 3 years on bases? it would add up to a very nice amount for those of us that are paying the 2-3 million rent everytime its due. anyone heard anything on this?

ok all, heres what we have been able to throw together....

i5...i6...i7.... I'm so lost in all these issues and "fixes" this game is losing its appeal. Pre-i5 the game was fun, exciting, and I loved playing for HOURS a day....Then you decided you needed to "fix" things.... Ok fine. Then ED comes along and you "fix" things somemore...... Ok fine. How much more are you going to "fix", and keep taking or reducing powers, before this goes from "City of Heros", to "City were normal people with little to no powers are dressed in funny costumes" One of the most funny aspects of the game as of late for me has been base development. I find it relaxing and a cool cretive realease. Well now thats screwed too. My SG is the #3 ranked SG on Champion as far as prestige goes, and our base expansion is on a permanant freeze because of the way the prestige amounts being what they are. I mean seriously you want to upgrade to plot #5? Ok no problem just give us EleventyBillion Prestige and its all yours!! oh you want upgraded power supply with that? ah, 55 gazillion Prestige more plz.
I mean I crunched a few numbers, and at the current rate of prestige being earned by my SG each month, we will have just enough (barely) every month to cover our rent for the base.... And thats if we all keep killing ourselves mass hours everyday to earn the prestige. But what if some of us leave on a vacation, or have a simple computer or R/L problem that keeps us offline for a set time period? We need to worry about losing our base???? This is getting insane!!!! I truely love this game, but I refuse to kill myself day in, and day out trying to keep up with "fixes" that you DEVS keep putting into place.....Age of Empires 3 is a beautifully done game, and I think its calling to me, and My 3 NCsoft accounts to go with me, and see if the grass is greener there. I know nothings perfect..... but I can think of eleventy gazillion reasons I should go try my gaming skills there then here. To those of you in My SG I wont just leave you over night, I will make sure things are put in place and the group will continue after I leave, I just feel sadened for those of you that will put so much work and time into your characters, just to once again have it ruined by i8,or i9, or i492 for that matter because its never going to stop. The DEV's have focused their attention to CoV, and we are thrown a freakin bone to keep us quiet (pocket D) well I dont like bones sorry.
