Just curious, really:
Does Ignite benefit from Scourge? -
It will increase the amount of health regenerated per tick, not increase the number of ticks.
-
The problem with binds and macros with the $$ command is they'll try and execute everything simultaneously, so yes you would have to set up the emote seperately and activate it manually after the power is finished, as power animations tend to overwrite emotes.
That said, there's a burp emote?? -
There was definitely a video on the US forums a Stalker made demonstrating how he solo'ed an AV with Water Spout... I'll see if I can find it again.
EDIT: Not AVs sorry, just Bosses. But here are the videos:

The Dominator Pet for Mako *is* a Coralax Blue Hybrid, Corruptors and Doms get the hybrids, Brutes and Stalkers get the Coralax Guardian big guys.

Thanks for clearing that up, I was just going from (bad) memory. -

bile spray is possibly the worst looking power ever but the rest of the Mako powers are pritty cool, for the minion take a look round port oakes for a coralax they look like that as for the armor, slight bluey glow with makos sybol flashing up every now n then
[/ QUOTE ]
Back when I7 was on test there was a thread on the US board that had pictures of all the new Patron Powers. Can't find it now, though.
If I rememver right, the creatures around Port Oakes are Coralax Hybrids, whereas the Patron Pets are true Coralax - they look somewhat like Earth Control's Animated Stone pet.
The Water Spout is awesomeness. Behaves much like Storm Control's Tornado, but looks much, much cooler. -
I honestly don't know if Intangible is one of those mezzes that drops toggles, or one which doesn't. I'm guessing it doesn't right now, but it's been some time since I played my FF Defender with Detention Field.
If you're coming to the all-dom team tonight Blind, we'll make sure to find a mob we can test it out on. -
Checking up on the guides on the US forums, apparently with one Intangible SO Dimension Shift will snag bosses without Domination running. Whether or not with Domination up that will also grab EBs or AVs, I don't know.
I guess you could give it a try with one SO and if that proves too powerful, drop it to a DO... -

Would it be worth slotting three intangibility enhancements in DS or would that be overkill? What sort of magnitude would this produce, enough to phase an AV or a player in PvP?
[/ QUOTE ]
While I don't know if this would work or not, I think (with the exception of the LRSF) it would be more useful if you achieved a magnitude that could intangiblisze (not a word) everything except for AVs, and maybe EBs.
That way you could eliminate the lackies from the fight and let everyone gang upon the AV for a while, using the power like a sieve. -
Many Kin Defenders can get by without Stamina once they hit 26 and grab Transference.
I would really recommend you slot Siphon Speed with 3 recharges, as it stacks with itself. Also if you pick up Hasten (3-slotted for recharge too) you will find you can triple-stack Siphon Speed. When you speed up like that, your buffing, healing, endurance healing and damage output all speed up too. I'd remove Flurry for Hasten personally, but it's your choice.
If you're interested mostly in PvE, you should be fine with just 2 acc in Fulcrum Shift - but make sure you triple-slot it for recharge in any case.
Finally, you may want to re-organise the order in which you've chosen your powers... As it stands you only have two attacks (discounting any vet rewards and other temp powers) until level 22. -
In related news:
Castle has confirmed that the range for Dominators' Impale is not going to be reduced in line with the Scrapper/Stalker versions!
[ QUOTE ]
Impale for Dominators is not being reduced in range.
As for the Toggle Dropping of attacks like Blaze, the values have NOT been reduced, but I will be datamining to see if Dominators become 'too good' in PvP because of it. My expectation is that it won't be a problem but it is a red flag area I'm paying close attention to.

Just a FYI for those who don't read the US boards:
It's been confirmed that the short-range Dominator attacks will be increased in range in line with the Blaster/Defender/Corruptor variants - however they didn't do them in time for the latest patch on Test. So not yet, but coming soon!
From Castle:

Has anyone heard anything on if we will get the ranges increased on blaze, power burst, etc?
Or, will fire assault get the same buffage as fire blast is receiving?
[/ QUOTE ]
I PM'd _Castle_ about this over the weekend. I'm guessing Fire Doms got missed. His reply was simple and to the point- Coming soon! (that was the exact quote)
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, the changes to Dominators didn't get made at the same time the Blaster/Defender changes were (different spreadsheets.) So, like I said, 'Coming soon!'

Bah looks like I'm already out of the running

Why?

Full team already ...

Take my spot, I'm just being greedy. -
If you end up domming on a second night, I have a second Dom I wouldn't mind using more often!
Of course, I'll let any new folks have priority over me as I'm already in the first Tuesday team. -
I think it was Chain Control and Blade Assault that the devs referred to, as a new paired set?
I don't think they had the ninja ideal in mind, but the above sets are a fantastic idea. -

I've started a Kinetics/Archery. Not the best damage but it's quite decent!

Ditto, that's my lvl 50! -

And if you do your job you shouldn't need vengeance. Prevent death, don't thrive from it
[/ QUOTE ]
Disclaimer: Results may vary.
If you're in a marvellous and wonderful perfect team, then no you won't need to use Vengeance, ever. It's true.
But it's also true that you will rarely, if ever, see that kind of polished teamwork. For the majority of the game - especially if you play mostly in PuGs - people tend to die. They die all the time.
And even in a good team, when they're pushing themselves to their limits, the death of one player is often quickly followed by the rest. That's when Vengeance saves everyone's bacons (minus one).
Aside from that, the rest of the Leadership pool powers are at their best when in the hands of a Defender and well worth picking up if you're playing that AT. If you're planning on getting Assault and Tactics anyway, then Vengeance is just one more power.
Also DeathDude, if you truly believe the quoted philosophy, why is Resurrect in your suggested build? Huh? -
I disagree with Death Dude on the Vengeance thing. Take Vengeance if you want to, it's wicked fun and very powerful.
But I do agree that there are more important, less situational powers to get earlier on, like Fortitude. -
I've got a Mind/Psi Dominator, and I would recommend taking the fitness pool even if you do grab Drain Psyche.
While it is definitely worth grabbing and definitely very useful, Drain PSyche's buff is very short duration and is a little situational (it needs nearby enemies for example) to rely on all the time. -

When you put your heal on auto, it's harder for you to control it than if you're just manually spamming it.
[/ QUOTE ]
Exactly.
Sorry, I'll stop with the one-line posts.
As MaX says, while spam healing (although it is sometimes looked down on) you still have a measure of control over when it is used and (in the case of Kinetics especially) where.
With spam healing you also choose when to start healing and when to stop, quicker and easier than when auto-healing. -
There's a big difference between spam healing and auto healing.
-
I'd be up for doing the Empath thing, if we have 8 interested parties and a semi-regular timeslot in which to play them.
-
I thoroughly disapprove of auto-healing personally, but in this particular case there are three major reasons why Twilight Grasp doesn not work well on autopilot:
1. You don't always need it.
2. If you're cycling through targets you can accidnetally aggro - it's a heal that needs an enemy to target after all.
3. The animation is looong and will rubbish your attack chain.
EDIT: As far as I'm aware, short of remembering to turn the autofire function on and off before and after each fight, there's no bind for autofire.
I highly recommend you take the time to learn when and how best to use your healing power. It'll improve your abilities as a player and your teammates will appreciate you all the more for it. -

Anyways I have an Ill/Kin at level 33, it's a really strong toon even with the distinct lack of synergy between primary and secondary. It helps that Illusion is somewhat passive compared to some other controller sets, so I have more time for Kinetics.
Anyway this is approximately my build at the moment. I really like the travel power combo of Siphon Speed, Inertial Reduction and 3-slotted Hover. Rocks

Hey I have a lvl 31 (nearly 32) Ill/Rad Controller! We should team sometime!
