Yeah, i'd hold off until the game picks up a bit. Stalkers don't have it as easy as they used to but still, should be ok...

I'd like to see the best graphics of any mmo out, that would rock. But graphics are the least of CoH's problems.

i have a spines scrapper that performs really well, main problems are 'good' corrs, and 'good' brutes, doms are easy, as are stalkers, and a lot of brutes cant keep up with an uber proced spines scrap. i just use impale, barb swipe and flurry.

I usually don't need help on builds but this corr of mine is underperforming, i use mids. Also, i feel like i need aid self, but i also feel i need tactics, fitness, hasten, and sj, that = 5 power pools, i cant decide between them, i think fitness and hasten are very important, any thoughts?

Real solution double drop rates across the board...I don't enjoy grinding for drops nor do most people. Real CoH players are here for the long run because we like the game and with the current state it can't hurt to make it easier to obtain our goals. I liked champions until they nerfed everything and made everything weak, maybe increase xp, drops, and effectiveness!

usually flying targets can be brought to the ground with any -fly power cause 9/10 they arent hovering, perception is a must, after that...u will need something like a webnade which will drop anything regardless of hover...or some other -fly power like levitate, some grav power or sorts. The easy part is getting the dom down, but what will u do once he falls? Good news is usually the fliers are weak pvpers from my experience and can be easily wrecked.

I dont know your playstyle but i like to run around smacking faces and challenging people to duels on my regens. So for me, SJ is a big waste of a power...i simply took leadership instead, no perception in pvp is no good imo...not to mention the to hit and extra bit of dmg u get from taking tactics and assault.

Agreed that there should be some penalty but debt wouldn't work in pvp imo. There would have to be some other penalty in place other than a debt system, I havent worked that out in my head yet, but the main reason debt will not work is because some players die substantially more often than others based on either A. ganks or B. they are just plain squishy. The entire point is so that pvpers can level at a steady rate as in PVE so it shouldnt be that any 1 players is forced into PvE to gain xp. Any suggestions on a penalty?

I need a toon that is gonna wreck most things in duels mainly.... Has to be a troller or defender. My thoughts so far are cold/sonic and mind/cold...any thoughts?

This is a topic that is very dear to me in this game. I am hoping that my fellow pvpers will back me up in proposing this to our dev team. In short, I would like to see experience points earned from player vs player combat. I feel that PVPers deserve an option to gain xp doing what they love the most. Some players play this game just to pvp. This will also put CoH on the map as far as 'pvp games'.
How the system works: Obviously the pvp xp system cannot be the same as the pve system, I did not want to opt for a instant 50 pvper button like guild wars because that won't help pvp anymore than AE has done for pve. So here are a few ideas.
Option 1: Constant XP
While in a PvP Zone a player gains xp while in certain areas marked as 'combat zones' based on a factor that would be parallel to the xp gained from pve. These areas should not be small, but rather cover specific large portions of a zone. For e.g. in Sirens Call the area would cover "the circles" as we pvpers call it and all and most of the surrounding area. This way people would not be allowed to sit in the base or hide/fly way up and farm xp. When on teams, the more of your teammates that are in that area, the more xp you all earn.
Option 2: XP per Battle
Notice it is XP per Battle and not per kill. Basically, whether you win or lose, you will be gaining xp. For each kill gained XP should be awarded on a greater scale than the person that is killed. Obviously this would be on a greater scale than in PVE because it is tougher to get kills in PVP. This will make team PVP crucial for some toons that are considered support builds.
Either of these options will be available starting in Bloody Bay through RV and in the Arena.
Other Suggestions:
Add a duel option to challenge players anywhere in any zone, keyword "challenge" meaning they do not have to accept. XP is award accordingly.
Add PvP zone base teleporters.
Get rid of travel suppression.
Obviously I can't work out this entire change alone, I would love for some dev/player input on what is possible, and other things people would like to see. -
My SG on Freedom is moving away from farming a bit and getting into team pvp big time. We just need more pvp active people. The current team we want to build is an all cold/sonic defenders team. Atm we are running psy/dev...if anyone is interested please let me know @AresSupreme

We don't need a definition, we aren't the ones whining about getting attacked in a pvp zone.
But here you go
Definition: anything you think is griefing in pve is ok in pvp.
Off the top of my head here's what you can't do "legally" while pvp'ing:
-use map glitches.
-verbally assault anyone (ie racist comments).
Anything else you might think constitutes griefing does not and you are wrong.

i agree with this completely. If ur in PvP then why the hell would u complain when another player kills u, and another thing...... Whats with all this "dual' [censored] in PvP.. u wanna duel then go to Pocket D, or the arena. I don't care what ur doing, if I see u Imma kill u, hell I might even tp u into some drones and just sit back and watch THEM kill u.. as long as u die I don't care how it happens. The ONLY RULES THAT MATTER in PvP are the ones setforth by the contract and the devs. Thats it. I don't care if u think inspirations are not legal in PvP... says who...?

You're forgetting that those who have no interest in PvPing are forced to go to those zones to get goodies like nukes and Shivans.
I was gonna say that lately I've seen players cooperate in BB to take out turrets, but you know... I won't, cause you may get the irresistable impulse to go harrass them.

Thank GAWD they fixed doms. While I would love to have you all on Freedom pvping there is no reason anyone should have to change their server due to a quick solution from our dev team.

Umm...if AE doesnt give double xp how can i possibly fill freedom up with 50s? Ever think of that?

fortunately we are all paying costumers here and we reserve the right to complain. Hell, most of us just like to complain so while the servers are down we are substituting complaining for playing the game...come on!? im having pvp withdrawals there. -

This is my first tank. I have been concentrating on melee Defense bonuses and regen mainly. I also have aid self. I was wondering if I should take tough or keep aid self?
