XP in PVP
if theres xp for kills, there would probably be debt for dieing. be sure you'd be willing to accept that before you ask for more rewards.
Agreed that there should be some penalty but debt wouldn't work in pvp imo. There would have to be some other penalty in place other than a debt system, I havent worked that out in my head yet, but the main reason debt will not work is because some players die substantially more often than others based on either A. ganks or B. they are just plain squishy. The entire point is so that pvpers can level at a steady rate as in PVE so it shouldnt be that any 1 players is forced into PvE to gain xp. Any suggestions on a penalty?

they only added xp to pvp because they put the pillbox turrets to lvl 50 rather than 54

This is a topic that is very dear to me in this game. I am hoping that my fellow pvpers will back me up in proposing this to our dev team. In short, I would like to see experience points earned from player vs player combat. I feel that PVPers deserve an option to gain xp doing what they love the most. Some players play this game just to pvp. This will also put CoH on the map as far as 'pvp games'.
How the system works: Obviously the pvp xp system cannot be the same as the pve system, I did not want to opt for a instant 50 pvper button like guild wars because that won't help pvp anymore than AE has done for pve. So here are a few ideas.
Option 1: Constant XP
While in a PvP Zone a player gains xp while in certain areas marked as 'combat zones' based on a factor that would be parallel to the xp gained from pve. These areas should not be small, but rather cover specific large portions of a zone. For e.g. in Sirens Call the area would cover "the circles" as we pvpers call it and all and most of the surrounding area. This way people would not be allowed to sit in the base or hide/fly way up and farm xp. When on teams, the more of your teammates that are in that area, the more xp you all earn.
Option 2: XP per Battle
Notice it is XP per Battle and not per kill. Basically, whether you win or lose, you will be gaining xp. For each kill gained XP should be awarded on a greater scale than the person that is killed. Obviously this would be on a greater scale than in PVE because it is tougher to get kills in PVP. This will make team PVP crucial for some toons that are considered support builds.
Either of these options will be available starting in Bloody Bay through RV and in the Arena.
Other Suggestions:
Add a duel option to challenge players anywhere in any zone, keyword "challenge" meaning they do not have to accept. XP is award accordingly.
Add PvP zone base teleporters.
Get rid of travel suppression.
Obviously I can't work out this entire change alone, I would love for some dev/player input on what is possible, and other things people would like to see.
