Finding them is the biggest problem. Once out of hide stalkers, with a few exceptions, aren't that hard to beat. I think */regen happens to be one of those exceptions though. Maybe a rad/* defender? You'll have -def, -res, -rch, and -regen.
If you really want to piss off stalkers roll Earth/TA troller. Probaly the most annoying thing to fight for me. Acid arrow keeps you out of hide forever, and most earth powers drop the stealth radius on stalkers to 500 FT or drop hide all together. It's also impossible to get a AS off in Earthquake, so you will be the life of the party if you spam that. If i was going to make a disruption toon blue side for zone...it would be this. You will be probaly the most hated toon in zone...and they will target you alot, so bring some friends. lol your dmg output will suck but, trust me...this will be more effective.
For arena duels or zone pvp?
I recently dueled 2 stalkers. One is a rather well known em/regen in RV and the other was a old test ladder pvper. In arena they didn't stand a chance against my fire/ss/earth tank. Quicksand keeps them visible and burn makes getting a AS off close to impossible.
As far as zone goes, might want to roll with divines suggestion.
Who was the Em/Regen....and i have got AS off in burn before. You have to be retarded to duel on a stalker. It's basically impossible to kill you with your 25 second heal that heals most of you HP lol. Although fire tanks are really easy to drop in RV. 2 ASes = Dead fire tank. If there is nothing else to target and i only see scrappers and tanks...if there is a fire tank..its the first one i go after. Most fire tanks dont have much HP due to no dull pain..so most are hovering around 2100 HP. Compared to invul that has 3000. lol. Fire tanks with Frostworks are beast though ..but thats rare thank god. lol
I think I was shooting for about 2500 on my Fire/SS build, but that's still vulnerable to being really close to a double-AS death.

Notice the "close" part? I've seen some stalkers with elude get through burn but its rare.
Not really allowed to call out names on forums, but his has a 99 in it. He actually has a video on youtube of him beating a fire tank. That fire tank looked pretty bad but I guess that's why he figured he could beat mine. He didnt actually loose but he came really close. In the end he gave up and quit the match.
My fire tank has around 2700 hp. He can take quite a beating. It does go down fairly fast when the base is camped, but most do.

This guy is a fite kluber. He seems to have a pretty good rep for taking down tanks and scrappers. Personally never heard of the guy before he was mentioned to me last week.

I fought Guyver99 on my scrapper, i used trops and as usual with my scrap, the duel didnt end. He is BS/regen but phase hide heal rech doesnt help...

I've never seen Matt outside of Sirens, which is the zone where Stalkers have the greatest advantage. He's one of the best in Sirens, but that's not saying much.

The reason you will never see my stalker in Sirens is because it's boring as hell. Does this mat link guy ever come to RV...there is probaly a reason he does not. Big differnce between sirens and RV. I have nothing against this guy, but if he wants to truly show his skill he needs to get out of lol sirens. and lol guyver99.

so i watched those videos..mainly cause i'm bored in a hotel room. he basically just smashes buttons and hope he get's kills...he's out of hide 99% of the time. The only decent person he beat was dutch and even then he got lucky. BTW...bone smasher is epic phail.

[/ QUOTE ]No epics, most heroes aren't at the perception cap, no t-9s, low hp, most IO's don't work (save been slotted for sirens) no real challenge in that zone.
I watched the vids, all i can say is.. love it or hate it, this is what what we have been crying about since i13 beta. This is what pvp is now, so the lesser skilled can compete, they forged this mess we now have. Let's look at this.....
So guy A) is good with breakfree management and or usage of armors and such and can't easily be held. Devs response let's totally take our mez protection and make it so anyone, can hold anyone, through anything.
So Guy B) is good with heal management and kites well, so lets make everything suppress you, even breathing will suppress you, and we will make multiple times healing one's self or another useless.
So guy C) has billions invested in IO's and with out some type of investment, you won't be able to come off the street and really compete with this guy. Devs answer to that we will do a global nerfing across the board(DR) to minimize the impact of being better equipped versus average joe pvp SO'd guy off the street.
So guy D) has buddies that buff him and stuff,hahahahahaha we all know where that went.
Notice the trend? You can only do what the system allows you to do, and since your suppressed anyway and forced to button mash, you might as well do it standing still. Just food for thought.
