Two of those actually created and turned a niche corner of a niche music genre into a multi-billion dollar industry.

And spawned countless knock-offs and copycats.

I would be good with either.
  3. I agree with planning ahead but sometimes you get thrown a curve-ball; like people already having their T4s when they introduced the second round of Lore Pets (most noticeably), Interfaces and Alphas.
  4. I know this is a stretch but can we get the ability to self-trade crafted Incarnate Abilities (either by direct in-game email or through the iMerit Vendors)?

Sometimes we find that an Ability we've crafted may not be what we expected (or is just being replaced by a different Craft) and it could be put to better use by another of our toons... it would be nice to be able to shift the crafted Ability over

Yeah, some of the groups are lacking in Named NPCs or unique powers but I don't think that, in itself, should prevent a group from being considered for Patron/Sponsor status.

Initially, I would reserve it for high level and multi-level NPC groups; as they tend to have a larger pool of backstories, potential henchies and powers to pull from... And then possibly, as interest and resources permit, start filling in the gaps with some of the smaller groups)

    Debuff Pets?

I was under the impression that devs could flag or unflag aggro if they were so inclined? Regardless, with all of the team buffing [and aggro control that's available]... that's kind of a moot point?

    Quote:
Besides, given the amount of the buffs the debuffs would also be pointless. You want to reduce an enemy's damage and regen by -3% each?
As opposed to a 3% damage buff? back at you. You do remember that these would stack; correct? ( (at 8x) -24% damage reduction, -tohit, -recovery, -recharge, -regen, -secondary effect (ala Weaken), -speed, -fly or maybe even new approaches/mechanics like +24% increase to end costs)

not signed. Devs should spend their time making worthwhile things.

Yes, like vanity pets, power-blocking travel temps and 'rooting' stealth powers.

    Thanks for your insight.
  7. If possible, could we evolve the PPPs from being based on an individual to being based on a group?

All current villain PPPs would be sub-catted into an "Arachnos" header (for those who ascribe to the Arachnos Way).

But for those that don't, other categories (each with their own sub-cats) could be explored:

    Circle of Thorns
    Carnies
    Freakshow
    Tsoo
    Family
    Pantheon
    etc.

With this setup; Hero PP Groups could also come into being:

    Longbow
    PPD
    Freedom Phalanx
    Vindicators
    Midnighters
    etc.

As well as Praetorian PP Groups (assuming that the current story progression allows for it):

    Syndicate
    Destroyers
    Resistance
    Carnies
    Talons
    D.U.S.T.
    Seers
    PPD
    Praetors (or Echoes of )
    etc.

In its simplest form; they would be unlockable through representatives of the desired faction at the appropriate level.

    Debuff Pets?

We have Vanity Pets and Buff Pets; how about some Debuff Pets and Damage Aura Pets? (paty)

    For aesthetics:

    Stuffed animals
    Toons
    RC/Toy Vehicles
    Puppies and Kittens

(and then corrupted/evil versions of the above)

My primary concern in this matter is the divide-and-conquer portion of LAM, where teams get split into the labs and warehouse, and so often the stronger members simply run off to solo their own crates, leaving others vulnerable.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts on the matter!
Without level shifts; def/resis means little in the trials and the mobs tend to shrug off mezzes fairly quick.

P/S are AoE heavy as well; which can be a problem if your heavy hitters are leaving you behind.

I recommend utilizing whatever stealth you have and playing keep up with the guys that are pushing ahead.
  12. Samuel Jackson in "Coming to America".

    Jennifer Aniston in "Leprechaun".

Finding out Vasquez, from "Aliens", was also John's stepmom in "T2". (Some directors seem to utilize their own 'stables' of actors)

Bill Paxton in "The Terminator" (see above note)

Almost always skipping over Donnie Wahlburg in movies.

Jackie Chan in "The Cannonball Run"

JCVD in "No Retreat, No Surrender" (not BWAH?!? for me but when I bring that up to others... lol)

"Attract" sounds like it could actually be a pretty interesting mechanic. Although if it happened it'd probably be a new powerset rather than a conversion IO like this. (Although using something like Gale and having enemies be pulled towards you would be visually amusing...)
Taunt effects. Might be interesting to add as an IO proc or an Incarnate Ability side effect.
  14. I'm looking to reroll a DS MM; any opinions on what my secondary should be to optimize mitigation/recovery (survival)?

What I'm seeing from the primary is (up to):

    -226% recharge debuff
    +22% S/L/T resis (slotted; self)/7% pets
    +30% F resis (slotted; self)/10% pets
    +15% C resis (slotted; self)/5% pets
    1 pet Heal
    1 AoE Heal

I will be slotting in all of the IO pet procs:

    +10% Def/+20% Def AoE
    +20% Resis

(assuming the Intensive Recharge uniques are usable with the standard pet uniques)

I'm also looking at complimenting the resis debuff that DS has a lot of:

    (up to) -108% resis debuff

    ****************************

I'm primarily looking at /Dark but maybe you guys are more keen to something that I may be missing from other sets?

    ****************************

And, at a glance, for the EPP:

Field Mastery looks good (Temp Invul+FoN+DS' resists) and Torrent (for KD mitigation+FF proc)

Charge Mastery (SoP+DS' resists) and EMP

    ****************************

Thanks in advance for everyone's input.

    Thank you.

    D'oh! :/

Side note: This could get me using /Storms on toons other than Controllers; like a Sonic/Storm Corr (and I might actually consider an Elec/Storm Controller now).
  18. Would you Stormies rather slot this in Tornado or Hurricane?
  19. I can build stacks fairly quickly on my Plant (haven't done too much work on my Thugs, so I can't say for sure on that).

Outside of the recharge debuff, any comments on the 'weaken' aspect of it?

Well, that stinks. Thanks for the header.

Not that I want to see a re-hash of the Reactive vs Degenerative debate again (and I'm good on damage)... but I was hoping to stick to the topic at hand; Gravitic, thanks.
  22. Both the in-game Detailed Info and Red Tomax Guide list Thunderous Blast's self-drain at 40 Endurance points, however, the general info and actual gameplay infers a complete 100% drain (to the caster).

Am I misreading something, was there a change that put these sources into conflict or has it always been this way?

In any event, can this get looked at? Please and thank you.
  23. Thanks. I was thinking that as well but was looking for an affirmation.

So G-Radial could have up to a -40% rech, -40% recov and 40% pseudo-weaken effect (sans damage debuff)? Does that sound effective on a Plant/Storm or a Thug/Dark to you guys?
  24. I have an Elec/Kin/Pwr Corr:

Aim + PBU + TB > Judgement damage with more drain than Ionic (which would be a good companion attack to [lead off] with)

Make it twice as nice with Burnout

    *

    Working on an Elec/Fire/Elec Blaster:

Aim + BU + TB then W.R.R. with Burnout; I may go EMastery for the EMP as well:

    EMP + Burnout

    *

Considering and Elec/Poison Controller or Corr (conceptual sapping)
  25. Please and thank you (in advance).

I'm looking at Interfacing both a Thugs/ MM and a (currently Cog-slotted) Plant/ Controller with the Gravitic Radial tree.

Is the base amount of -rech/-special 10% or is that the max percentage allowable after stacking?

Has anyone used this with either of the above powersets?
