The buff lasts long enough (and can be made to stack ) that you can run through your entire attack chain a few times.
As Kin/Son, Once you hit 38 try Siren's Song to put them all to sleep, then run into the middle and hit Fulcrum Shift. This will not wake them. Then use Amplify, and hit Dreadful Wail. The combination of -res from Song, +Dam from FS, and extreeeeme damage from Wail should put everything under, and give you some HUGE orange numbers. -

Seconded. For something that takes so much organisation to be narfed up by a couple of changes and what is hopefully a bug, must be quite the annoyance! -

Tactics are for other archetypes. We don't need no, tactication... We don't need no thought control... etc. -
Should've explained the concept some...
Basically, I need to be able to use fallout and vengeance. Technically, I should have mutation too, but something had to go. Might swap it in for Fire Ball.
Not sure on the slotting, since I'm only 20 at the moment - will try swapping some hold durations into dominate, as long as it stays spammable. Will see if I can get by with less endredux in RI as and when - defdebuff would be nice, for sure.
Confuse I absolutely and completely adore, a perma-confused boss is great, and with AV's even if you can't hold them perma, when holds are down, he's confused and standing about like a noffett (or even better, wading through his own minions knocking them the wrong side of next tuesday). Great fun!
In this case, the point of taking Tactics is to get to vengeance. No point in having the character if I can't keep his concept alive...
Radiant aura or Tactics may get some love if I swap Fireball for Mutation, since I doubt I'll be slotting that.

TANC (The Awfully Nice Chaps) are mostly old & grouchy. Well, maybe grouchy is the wrong word. Cynical buggers the lot of us.
Seek us out, if you can't find a suitable home elsewhere, we'll gladly trial you. -
Agree with Naboo there. Even pre-level 6, you will wipe out at least a third of each mob with coordinated strongest attack strikes, then the rest should be cannon fodder.
Make a bind like f10 "team Strike NOW", so the whole team pulls off the strike at roughly the same moment, it'll be utter carnage. -

Don't get me wrong, I won't purposefully go after someone just because they are badge hunting, or duelling, or what have you - but frankly they're being fairly inconsiderate in expecting us to change the normal zone dynamics to suit them. I am NOT going to start asking everyone in a PvP zone whether they are interested in fighting. If they're there, and they haven't said otherwise, they're fair game.

Righty, I've got my Mind/Rad controller sat at level 19, and I fear he's a little gimped.
So far, he has Levitate, Mesmerise and Dominate from Mind, Radiant Aura, Radiation Infection, Accelerate Metabolism and Enervating Field from /Rad, and swift/hhealth and CJ/Superjump.
I've never played a controller before, and it looks like I'm going to have severe problems finding all the slots I want - So I'm hoping someone can advise me on what I should probably be achieving from the character, and what powers (if any) can be passed up on - I'd like to pick up Fallout and Vengeance, but the rest is pretty flexible. And I'll definitely be needing Health and Stamina... -

For EM/EA, I went with SuperSpeed, for Hasten and the stealth which stacks with Energy Cloak. I've also taken Combat Jumping (but not superleap) because the defence stacks very nicely with your other defences.
When you hit SO's, with Energy Cloak & Kinetic Shield & Power Shield you'll be looking at 25-30% def to most things, which is good but not great - add in the def from CJ, even just 3% slotted, and it's a significant increase in survivability because of the slightly counter-intuitive way def works. -
It's annoying, and it's a trend that's been on the up lately. But it's not everyone. I think a lot of people get annoyed that the dynamics of PvP are so different to fighting the non-existent PvE AI, and rather than adapting, they complain themselves silly. Use insps, hit AFK people, wallop duellers. It's a PvP zone, and if they're not prepared to fight they shouldn't be there.

Think I read somewhere that Healing Flames was being looked at, to bring it into line with other tanker heals - don't quote me, I might just have dreamt that...

One of the best noinses in the game. The other best noise used to be FS hitting a lot of mobs. Awesome whip-CRACKKAAAaaaa... noise, been toned down a bit in I7 though. -
Stick to the concept, it's why you made him.
Teleport will be faster than SJ even without Range enhancers slotted, could you find three slots for end reduction in Teleport? -
Heh, I did the exact opposite with my Empath
Support's more work because my team expects me to be paying attention rather than being the token slightly daft thinks-he's-a-blaster mincing around near the scrappers eccentric squishy. Happy days! -
... and has longer recharge and greater endurance usage. Different strokes for different folks.
