Central location in the US. Most travel arrangements will bring you either directly to or VERY close to Indy. (plane, bus, I70, I65, ect...)
Cheaper than Chicago. For every dollar you spend in Indy you'd spend 2 or more in Chicago.
More hotel space than Chicago, and thus, cheaper rates.
More Convention areas. As a city, Indy is used to big conventions, (Star Wars Celabrations, GenCon, Indy500, HUNDREDS more...).
Indy is used to seeing an influx of people for events (see above).
Oh, and Jack's In-Laws live here, so Mrs. Statesman can see mom and dad. And when Mrs. Statesman is happy, EVERYBODY's happy.
Oh, and of course, the best reason....Cause I live there. And I'm poor and want to go, I can afford a 20 min drive.

But yeah, Indy is centrally located, it's cheap, lots of space for cons and lots of hotels.

Well, I am pretty entertaining. I usually don't get invited very often though. That's what happens when you don't drink. I get a lot of calls at 3:00 AM to be a Designated Driver though.

The word itself isn't that bad. It just so happens that when the word is used with Furries, things can get weird.

Lets just say that I dated a girl one time who was waaaaaay too into Furries. I learned things in the one week I dated her that I dare not speak of again.

I'll play Devil's Advocate here a bit. Technically, you could say everything about this game is useless. In 5 years when this game is gone and dead, will anyone remember the badges you got? Will anyone remember that really cool roleplaying thingy? Will anyone remember how your final battle in PvP went? Different strokes for different folks. Some people are attracted to combat, some are attracted to catgirl rping, and some are attracted to shiny objects.

Rad Defenders with the Medicine Pool.

Don't slot Mental Blast, especially for PvP. The only time it is a good idea to slot it is if this would be your PvE toon and you have all that you want. Ignore that power completely. Take all slots out of it and drop it out of your tray. You will have one of the best attack chains available with just TK Blast, Subdue, and Will Dom.

You should post this in the Guardian forum. Most of the raid leaders frequent it and would be able to help.

As for your character, the only thing you really need for a Hammi Raid (in it's present state) is Phantom Army, Blind, Hasten, and Fly. Hasten and Fly are actually pretty optional. Most of the Drop teams on Guardian have some sort of recharge boost going all the time with Speed Boost, Adrenaline Boost, and Accelerate Metabolism.

For your secondary, none of it is needed, and most of it is actually unwanted. Storm powers add to the lag during the hold phase, so it's not a good idea to use them unless you want people sending you tells about how much they hate you.

Other than that, you should be good to go. Honestly, build how you want. I don't have Fly at all on my Dropper, but someone usually always has Group Fly available. Come on by for Mondays raid though. Look out for Mistress Illusion (me), Doug Henning, or Tiny Neut. Doug and Neut are usually the ones that will start up the Drop teams when they are available. I just usually make crude sexual references to pass the time.
