well, it's either gas or ice and idk if ice will really do too much in normal zone pvp situations. and EMP is just fun usually =P especially on MM's lol

Don't slot Mental Blast, especially for PvP. The only time it is a good idea to slot it is if this would be your PvE toon and you have all that you want. Ignore that power completely. Take all slots out of it and drop it out of your tray. You will have one of the best attack chains available with just TK Blast, Subdue, and Will Dom.

okay, but in case you didn't notice, I'm sort of free on slots. what else should I put the slots into then? just more end reducers in stuff that isn't max slotted yet? more travel speeds? any suggestions?

will total focus light oil slick? I'm working on a TA/A using archery just for the lighting oil slick and animations fluidity. Also mine wont get leveled to 50 ever...32 maybe. I'm thinking of using it as kill support for zone pvp because defenders get all the toy powers earlier. If not TA/A it woulda been ill/TA.

I'd add an End Rdx in your big 3 attacks (Subdue, TKB, Will Dom) and 2 End Rdx to TF. The third recharge won't do nearly as much as the End Rdx, and with Glue Arrow you don't have to worry about stuff getting away.

I see a few problems with your build. Such as only 2 recharges in disruption. I'd figure if you take it you'd want it to be up as much as possible. Also, why slot ice arrow for slow? The slow on it isn't very much. It's sort of just a nice added effect of the power, but the real benefit of it is the hold. Personally, I'd replace those slows with recharges especially since after glue arrow, they are gonna be about as slow as it gets. Another thing is 3 slotting combat jump for jumping barely does anything. You'd be better off putting those 2 slots somewhere else. As for your aid self, I noticed you have hami-o's throughout the build but you decided not to use at least 1 golgi on aid self and instead you slotted an end reducer. You'll want at least 2 interrupt reducers in aid self to reliably use it in pvp. I suggest slotting 2 interrupt, 2 recharge, 2 golgi for overall effectiveness. Hope I've been some help to you and let me know how you end up doing in pvp!

Dissruption Arrow: I have toyed with another Recharge... but as it stands, W/out Hasten its basically Perma... and WITH hasten you can overlap them(which i dont THINK you get added -rez... but i could be mistaken)

Ice Arrow: Honestly i'm not a HUGE fan of this power... but it does have it's uses. The reason for my slotting is that no recharges because it's not a spamworthy power(would rather spam Blasts) its animation time(redraw excluded) is pretty lousy. Also, in the arena, everyone carrys a full stack of breakfrees, so i would rather not slot it for holds, but stack more slows, which can't be resisted.However, on my /TA trollers and my Necro/TA MM i slot it more for Holds, as it makes stacking them much easier. Again though, i focus more on taking down the target as opposed to trying to hold them.

CJ: 3 slotted makes a big difference. Especially after someone trows a lot of ice at you or any other -speed power. Movement is key, especially for the more squishy and in other defenders of mine i would concider sacrificing other slots to get CJ, swift, and hurdle slotted.

Aid Self: that was a big My-Bad... your slotting is great... though i may forgo 1 interrupt for another Golgi, if available, or a heal... in my encounters... the attacks that can inturrupt through 1 int redux can usualy int. through 2(i.e. toggles).


You did offer good advice and i am definatly looking at the Disruption Arrow Slotting

is this supposed to be team or duel? i highly discourage dueling with a TA, but it's awesome on teams if you have a decent support chain. TA is a huge combat multiplier, one that's rarely used.

the devs made it clear that by giving you an uncounterable status effect (-jump) you would have to pay for it in terms of survivability.

on the other hand...for the one uncounterable effect, the trade-off in debuff efficiency is unbalanced..

try this for survivability..substitute ps for assault, tact, and veng if you have a strong support chain...for duels you can drop veng and pick up the snipe...or get the snipe and aid self.

Well, I want to use it mostly for zone pvp. prolly Warburg and RV mostly. And usually I'm solo when I pvp because not many of my friends like to pvp and I usually have a hard time finding pvp teams anyway. Would I be better off with medicine, leadership, or concealment for that? Also, how useful is disruption arrow really for pvp since it doesn't stick to the intended target like acid does. And I notice your sample build didn't have ice or EMP arrows. I can somewhat see not having ice, but EMP seems like it would still be pretty useful in pvp situations.
