A lot of my characters end up slotted this way, although I focus more on recharge than damage, because they're either already tough (WP Brute), survive using their powers that are good enough without extra slotting (Dark Defender), or (in the case of my blasters) work on the philosophy of "The best debuff is death."

So while looking at the detailed information and trying to decide between Ice/Storm Corr or Storm/Ice Def, I noticed that only the Defender version of the power has the -range component. Is this true or just a bug on the part of the detailed info? (which wouldn't be new)
EDIT: You can tell I was completely exhausted when I wrote this because I totally forgot to mention I was asking about Hurricane >.< -

So I'm making a trio of thugs characters with friends of mine. They have both decided on Thugs/Dark. I'm stuck between Thugs/Dark and Thugs/Pain. I think Pain would be good to cover the bases that Dark doesn't hit (Recov, Regen, Consistent spot healing, and resistances) but at the same time I love Dark Miasma with a passion and think that you can't possibly have too much of it. Fear stacking, def buff stacking, Darkest Night and Tar Patch stacking.
Both sets look really good on paper. So I'd like the hoi polloi's opinion. What do y'all think? -

Trying to find a group of peoples to RP with anyway, so I figure this could help with RP networking. :P -
But you can't make a SS/SD Scrapper And scrappers only get +2.5% more damage from the first mob. That's the only diff between Scrap and Brute AaO

Gotta ask, because I've been considering getting a brute together for this.
Why not /shield? The Dmg bonus from AaO and the extra AoE attack looks very nice. -
It's not that he gets hit more, it's that he runs into melee range despite being a ranged pet.

We all know that MM pet AI has never been exactly stellar, but has anyone else noticed some glaringly dim-witted behavior from their pets recently? Ever since I17 went live, my bots seem to have an illogical love of melee range and my Cold Demonling seems to like getting pounded on as well.
Once again, has anyone else noticed this, or is it just me? -
Okay, first my question: Does Claws/Elec get better? I'm getting destroyed! Granted I'm level 18, but this is REALLY frustrating! Does this pay off in the end?
Second, what am I doing wrong in this build? I hear people saying they can get to 58% S/L with /elec, so what in the Nine Hells am I doing wrong here?
Thirdly, is this build actually any good? I'm basing this purely on theory right now. Can anyone with some actual experience let me know if this is viable or in fact any good? What changes could be made?

I know this looks odd, but I was thinking today if I dropped the sixth slot of most of my attacks, which would only be useful 20% of the time, I'd free up slots for more sets in other powers and a few slots that I'd just like to have (i.e., 3-slotted fly). So, oh mighty number-crunchers, what do you think? Am I crazy? Am I on to something here? Is this a viable build? -

With the battle over, a curious thing happened to the puddle man. He slowly lowered to the ground, but when he reached it, he didn't stop. His body kept flowing into the ground until the only thing left was a small pebble sized piece of liquid metal
((I find it best to semi-remove my character from an RP with my interest is waning but still keep them in some how. That little pebble will follow whoever is going after the book thing until I decide to pop back in. That way the story is not interrupted but my character is still up to speed when I come back)) -
