That's because Warburg's missions' upper level is 50.

I suck at direct PVP in any flavor, so it's unlikely that I'd participate if PVP were overhauled and "made better" (whatever that means).
Unless it came down to doing it DIFFERENTLY than just Player A attacking/being attacked by Player B (with or without added Players C, X, Y, and Z). I'm good at, for instance, WoW's vehicle PVP, where your powers are replaced by the powers of the vehicle you're controlling. But that puts everyone on a level playing field, so it's TOTALLY different than anything City can currently do. -
Don't know the forums exist? It's on the updater every time you launch it. Basically every MMO has an official forum. They don't get a free pass on that one, that's just lazy.
Don't know the channels exist? Well, if they're searching for people to play with, typically they go to the official forums and complain that the game is dead and there's no people. And what's on the official forums? People! And what do the people here do? Post a bunch of examples of how you can find more people, which typically includes a bunch of channels where you can find people in-game. Shocking, I know. -
Win7 has a few quirks. Check out the Tech & Bugs forum for more details, lots of threads up there.

The graphics ...card (chip) is inadequate, especially once we get Ultra Mode. You probably wouldn't even be able to turn on Ultra Mode with that.

Join your server channels (it's generally as easy as searching for your server name). Voila! You are now a part of an instant social network. Start talking and interacting with the folks who have set themselves up in there, and you'll even be accepted into it. Hell, after a time, you might be one of those folks who've set themselves up in there. And you'll be the one accepting newbies into it.

If you're standing anywhere with an anti-TP field, it won't work. Pocket D, jail cells, a few other places.

Quote:Those are all are PVE zones with minor PVP options. I can do just about everything in those zones without engaging in PVP. (Hell, most of the time, I can do just about everything in those zones without even seeing an opposite faction PC.)What about Silithus and the Eastern Plaguelands (available with no expansions), or.... hm, it's been a while, but there's two in Burning Crusade, one that follows the mechanic in EPL, and one that involves flying around on a Griffin bombing guards until the area goes neutral, then PVPing until one side takes control.
Anyways, a zone in Northrend (added after Burning Crusade) isn't the first in WoW to have open world PVP minigames.
Wintergrasp is the first open world zone in the game dedicated to PVP. Basically, nothing in the zone doesn't have something to do with PVP. (Well, the best fishing is in there and that's not PVP, but that's nothing to do with the zone story. ) -

Demo record yourself doing whatever it is you want to do, then use a recording device while viewing the demo record.

Yes. You want to keep steamrolling as fast as possible, and if that person can't self rez, be rezzed, or be given a wakie, he is dead meat on the team. This is common for faction-restricted speedy ITFs. (Though it's not at all common, overall.)

Oh, there was also the bug with level-locked AVs (e.g. LRSF) spawning far lower if the diff setting was -1. I forgot about that part!

This is a great idea, although I wouldn't limit it by such a huge margin. Every three to four weeks? WAY too long! Each side only needs a little time to get done with the zone.
I'll give an example from a game most of you hate: WoW.
Wintergrasp is a controllable PVP zone, and was WoW's first "open world" PVP zone (instead of being an instanced battle ground). It's pretty epic.
You fight for the control of Wintergrasp Keep (WoW does this by utilizing their "vehicle" mechanic, which replaces your powers with a set of powers specific to the vehicle you are driving; this is not necessary in CoH, but would be interesting!).
When a faction controls the zone, everyone of that faction (whether they participated or not) gets a global +experience buff in Northrend (the continent where Wintergrasp is located), and there is a dungeon in the castle there that's only available to the winning faction. Every few hours, a new battle can be fought and control may or may not swap. If no one participates in the battle, the previous winner wins by default and keeps the buff/dungeon control. It is not uncommon to see control switch sides several times a day.
It's REALLY fun, and this is coming from someone who generally hates PVP (because I am terrible at it).
http://www.wowwiki.com/Wintergrasp - lots more info on Wintergrasp. If City did this, they wouldn't have to copy it, code line by code line, but Wintergrasp is an example of a highly successful controllable PVP zone.
*puts on flame retardant suit* OK, WoW-haters, lay in! I'm ready! -
Send a PM to the devs you think should read it. Posting here (in Player Questions, where players answer questions posed by other players) does nothing.
We can't tell you if they read Magazine A or Trash Rag Z. We also can't tell you if they will or won't. So your question is in the wrong place (if it's anywhere but a dev's PM box, it's in the wrong place.) -
No, people were dropping diff to -1 and then team-steamrolling it for the same merits as a team completing it on +4. THAT was the exploit, not either of the two you call out. Neither of those is bad.

"Stop making all those new characters, you'll never get anywhere in the game!"
On second thought, I like my altoholism (over 100 characters, thankyouverymuch!), so screw that noise! -
You can't swap insps with the opposite faction, which is what GG was talking about .... my defender can't hand that dead brute a wakie.

Because yes... the RWZ revamp "just turned back into old fast." So did the Faultline revamp. Definitely hum drum and boring, like the old RCS and Faultline. They never see anyone in there, ever, because it's so old.
Oh, I'm sorry, that was sarcasm, by the way.
Because the RWZ is one of the more popular zones in the game (especially if a server has mothership raid schedules), and Faultline is REGULARLY requested by just about all the teams I'm on in that level range. -
Incorrect. I regularly create characters utilizing veteran reward pieces. And by regularly, I mean, at least once or twice a month... at LEAST. >.> <.<

Gaussian's "red and black" arc has at least one mission with Longbow in it. If you've already done the arc, you can Ouro it.

/gfriend requires the other person to accept, yes, but /getglobalname does not.
