It ends up counting the lines it takes inside the signature box (which really should be expanded.)
For instance, mine is an image (counts as one line - if you can fit multiples in there, good,) and two text lines of links when you look at it here. However, in the signature box, I'm pretty much *at* the five line limit.
If you're copy/pasting something from another source, count how many lines it's taking up in the signature "box" when you put it in. More than 5? Not going to work.
Aye. Although it doesn't look like it, my signature is 3 lines, so I have room for two more: It's two images, and then one line of text.
Also, there are a LOT of people with Legacy Signatures. They'll have a sig like this:

[BLANK SPACE]
TEXT
TEXT
[BLANK SPACE]
TEXT
TEXT
That would be 7 lines, and not allowed, but because they did it before the forum crossgrade, it was kept. If they ever attempt to edit their signature, they'll lose it, and be forced into the same 5 line limit as everyone else.

Now, it says that I can't have more than five lines in my signature. I can't even add FOUR lines of text to my signature without it telling me I have exceeded the 5 line limit. Yet, I see people with 5 lines of text AND a f***** picture in their signature. What the f*** am I doing wrong? Or is it a conspiracy against me?
