The devs have said the percentage of people with level 50 characters (and thus access to H/V EATs) is surprisingly small. So lowering the requirements for EATs is perfectly reasonable.

No, MB said ..some things.., and then edited his posts.

Note you're not supposed to say that you're in closed beta, if you are in closed beta. They ask that you don't divulge any details at all related to it, including your inclusion in it.

Pre-orders from brick-and-mortar stores tend to have a pre-order code. See also: CoV pre-order, to get the store-specific pre-order goodies you had to have a pre-order code.

Whatever name/password you use to log into these forums, that's what you log into the game with.
If your updater has "eu" in the filename, it's for the EU version of the game.
If your updater does not have "eu" in the filename, it's for the NA version of the game. -
I would like to point out a very big distinction that seems lost on the OP:
The way your character is and the way you play on a team of strangers do not equate.
When you join a team, your playstyle will change. The only time it won't is when every person on the team knows you and accepts your playstyle (and/or plays the same).
If you are playing with strangers, most of those strangers really don't give a FIG what "your character" would or wouldn't do, nor "HOW" your character would or wouldn't do something. They care what "YOU" do and don't do, and "HOW" you do and don't do things. This is common sense. -
Uh, you guys shouldn't be posting in the public forums regarding errors with your closed beta experience. :x

Go in-game. Type [Shadowy Presence] and send it to a channel. Click on it. Read. Enlighten yourself.

Quote:That card is (and all of the GT/GTX 2xx cards are) huge and the OP is limited to a slimline case.I grabbed one of these:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130521
and it runs phenominal with pretty much everything maxed out. But I don't generally team so it's just me. It might bog down with a full team throwing stuff around. -

If you have installed CoH, you have installed everything you need to play CoV. They're the same program. The only difference is the name and icon of the updater/program themselves. You don't need a separate install to play CoV.
And you won't need a separate install to play Going Rogue, either. (Future-proofing this question. ) -

Open powerset options for the powergamer:
Tier 1: which tier 1 power does the most damage/DPS/DPE? Pick that.
Tier 2: which tier 2 power does the most damage/DPS/DPE? Pick that.
.
.
Tier 9: which tier 9 power does the most damage/DPS/DPE? Pick that.
(In case you don't catch my drift, I am firmly against this suggestion. As in "not only no, but #@!% no.") -
Mac forum --->
They can answer your questions better.
(I am amused that "PC_guy" is asking how to get on Test with his Mac. Yes, I know Macs are "Personal Computers" and therefore PCs as well, but the death-match is PCs vs Macs. :x ) -

We haven't been given any specifics whether an already-created character can or can't side with Loyalists/Resistance, but it is assumed that that is one of the parts of redeeming/falling. -
Quote:The generic IOs are available by selecting the IO (without a special center image) at the top of the enhancement addition window.Hi Claws,
thank you and am now sorted. I saw those icons and assumed (that word again) they were just a quick pick for crafted IO's, not that they gave the specialised available sets. duh!
New thing for today learned, tick VG
Cheers
Set IOs are available by selecting the IO WITH a special center image at the top of the enhancement addition window, and then selecting the set TYPE along the right side. -
Yeah. I'm using HDMI-to-DVI right now, but some of my tax refund is going toward a shiny new ATI card so I can do full, true HD. Sadly, my 28" monitor died a horrible death and my replacement is "only" 23". But I will just 'deal with it'.

Many AE missions (quality AE missions), this does not work.
AE farms, maybe. Depending on what kind of farm it is. Even then, most AE farms are "kill everything in sight".
Besides, doesn't AE not have an XP reward at the end, only ticketpalooza? So... what reward? -

I pay for my game during the "buy 12, get 2 free" holiday fare, so I have over a year of play time without having to worry about whether I want to pay for the fee. Besides, it's so ridiculously much less money in the long run... what was it, $139.99 or 149.99 for 14 months? Even at the higher number, that's less than $11/mo, which saves me more than $4/mo, or over $56. That's my groceries for a week!
There are times when I don't log into the game for a week or more. Once I went a whole month. However, amusingly, I post on the forums many times per week (occasionally, many times per day) and fiddle around in the Wikis every day.
Suffice to say, I take breaks, but I never leave.
