I don't care about anything other than being misrepresented, and "big whoop, a typo" is not snark, nor is it reacting badly to criticism (especially since I wasn't responding to criticism).
I said "big whoop, a typo", and promptly fixed my typo (with an edit comment "wrong pack name"). No one made a big deal out of it, because it's not a big deal, until Impish Kat came along.
For what it's worth, I never post in anger or use snark when I'm genuinely helping someone (as I had been previously in the thread), so unless it's REALLY OBVIOUS, never assume any kind of emotion or intent to my posts. I post here to help people, and yes, Impish Kat, that does include correcting other people when they're wrong. (And yes, it does include being corrected when I'm wrong.) -
Green jelly beans in your rep comments came from people with enough "rep weight" to move your reputation positively.
Red jelly beans came from people with enough "rep weight" to move your reputation negatively.
The longer you have been signed up to the forums, the more posts you have made, then the more "rep weight" you have. Positive rep adds to your "rep weight" as well. Having a high amount of rep in addition to a long duration forum account (even if your account lapsed; vBulletin only cares about reg date) and a high post count means you can move mountains with one jelly bean.
Grey jelly beans are people who don't have enough "rep weight" to do anything (zero reputation points). -
Quote:If you have a grey jelly bean next to the rep text, that means the repper does not have enough "rep weight" (positive or negative) to move your rep. For example, I have my rep turned off and I'll give you rep for you for the post I'm replying to, to peruse.Actually, I've gotten the slam-dunk inexplicable one a couple of times (that I know of).
The amount of reputation points you can deliver in positive or negative rep is partially based on the amount of rep you have, I believe. Furthermore, although I'm not actually sure myself, I think if you turn off your own rep your reputation flags carry no score. So when you are flagged for rep, the flag is red if its a negative rep, green if it is a positive rep, and grey if the person flagging you has their own rep turned off.
Sometimes people leave very elaborate messages. Sometimes they just leave short ones. "Nice!" or "you suck" or one probably unique to me "not a dev." Sometimes they don't leave any comment and I just get a positive or negative rep with no message, just N/A.
The truly Zen rep that I've gotten two or three times is when they leave no message, and they have rep turned off. So what I get is a reputation flag with N/A and no value. Its not positive or negative, and it has no message.
I always wonder if the person intended to flag me positive or negative and they just didn't know their reputation flags have no value, or if they knew that and flagged me anyway as either positive or negative with no message *knowing* that I would have no way of knowing if it was a positive or negative flag. That's deep. -
Goes the same for you.

You might not want to read my text as anything other than completely emotionless.

Quote:You can stack Vengeance. You just have to do it within the same server tick. (a popular tactic is to have two or more people queue Vengeance on a dead teammate our of range and a third recall friend the dead teammate within range.)Yes. There are two ways to prevent powers from stacking in the game:
...
2. Being [Vengeance], or the Widow equivalent.
The latter is due to a mode created specifically for Vengeance. Veng puts the target in "Vengeance Mode", and Vengeance won't cast itself on a target in Vengeance Mode. -

So replace Magic with Science. Big whoop, a typo.

Aggelakis is "done" but that's because she's fully slotted with HOs from before IOs, and I'm way too lazy to redo her build. I still play her, though.
I almost never get my characters to 50, so basically none of them are ever done. -
I think, but am not 100% sure, that that map was made by Zombie_Man. He did make a villain one as well, IIRC.

Quote:About half (if not more) the people that get the Science Pack don't realize that "surgeons" are specific NPCs. I see this question repeatedly and often in Help Channel. Therefore, it was pretty safe to guess that you were also one of those people. It's called "covering your bases".... Okay, thanks. I am glad for the help. I just wish you read my OP a little better. I did say surgeon, as I was talking to them but nothing was happening.
Customer support ALWAYS starts at the lowest common denominator. Because it's the lowest common denominator for a reason: it's the most common thing missed. -
HeroStats' influence gain tracking is just rewards that show up in the rewards chat channel. Defeats, mission completes, some glowie clicks award influence, etc. HeroStats does not (can not) record sales.

Probably won't be more than Issue 17. Issue 17 included a graphics overhaul, so it was HUGE. Going Rogue will probably be smaller, since it's basically a few zones and some new content. I wouldn't expect it to be as big as or bigger than I17.

A) You must be at a Cosmetic Surgeon to do any kind of gender changing or anything like that. If you're just looking to do regular costume changing stuff, including power customization, any tailor will do.
2) Your origin specifies which attack you get. Only Magic origin gets the Apprentice Charm. If it's not in your tray, click "Powers" on your tray and look in the Temporary Powers list.
III) There is no III. -
I did so as well, and on crappy phone lines so I actually got slower connection than that, sometimes as low as 15k! Of course, when it was that low, I couldn't do much more than solo...eight-man teams were impossible, and don't even THINK about going to Atlas Park or participating in a Rikti Raid! LOL

If it's really been "a few weeks ago", I highly doubt support will allow you to revert your purchase, but it can't hurt to try.

This was changed in Issue 16. It's part of Super Sidekicking. When exemplared, you have access to powers up to five levels higher than you. So for example, you can theoretically have Stamina on the Positron Task Force, provided you took it at 20.

David Nakayama indicated that they were working on it.

Not really. I run at 1920x1080 on a crappy old 7600 GS. (I have to run at this resolution or my monitor does not function.)

Quote:Hover your mouse over the beacons. They're labeled with their zone.I've spent a bit of time trying to figure out an easy way of indicating which teleporter goes to which zone. The pictures on the beacons aren't bad once you get used to them, but they're tough to identify from a distance, and you often really have to know the zone well before it makes sense what you're looking at.
Target the beacons. They're labeled with their zone.
