You don't have to include a Map line at all.

Here is an example of what I used to get this image, with a nice blue background (I find black tends to wash out lighter colors, and obscures the edges of characters with darker costumes):

I saved that as "aggelakis.cohdemo", then I played it with Sloth's Demo Launcher, and took a screenshot of the CoH window.

To replace your character, just demorecord your character (it only needs to be recording as long as it takes you to type /demostop...your character's costume details are recorded IMMEDIATELY upon typing /demorecord filename), and find the blurb in the file that looks like the "PLAYER "PLAYERNAME"" line down to the last PARTSNAME line. Copy that block and paste it overtop of my character's details. It's easiest to do this in a remote part of the game, where there are very few other player characters and few mission doors and few enemies. I like to use the far northern corners of Peregrine Island where there's nothing for miles. It makes it far easier to pick your character out of the demorecord.

You'll note the POS line says "0 -5004 -7.45" ... that sets your character -5004 feet (or whatever the recorder uses for unit measurement) below ground level, which takes the character far below the clouds that would make the background not be a solid color otherwise.

    Probably some more as well.
KoA and Pylons have +perception. The only enemies that ignore stealth are Rikti Drones and Rularuu eyeballs. This is discussed on the stealth & perception page at the wiki.

That's because, for about the sixth time, the promotion has not officially started at Gamestop for some reason, as per a previous poster speaking directly to Customer Service for Gamestop.

I also noted that the wiki describes SS as having a "Minor stealth" element when you look at it's power description but in the "Stealth" page it shows it as 35 feet and then above it, is a section called "Minor stealth" which are rated at 30 feet that does not include SS? Seems to be a contradiction there?
Please link pages. I have no idea what pages you're referring to, so I can't verify whether you are confusing things or the wiki is wrong/confusing.

No, it's a Sky Raider pack no matter what.

I've got all three: Safeguard pack, Invention pack, and FBZ pack, and they're all Sky Raider packs.

Edit: I just checked out the Complete Edition set on Amazon and I can see that there are. Sounds like the best option would be to purchase from Gamestop and add the bonuses for 6.99 each. Then I get all the awesome goodies

I don't suppose anyone has information on the Shadowy Presence invisibility power?
Preordering through Gamestop gets you everything in the 6.99 goodie pack. The 6.99 goodie pack is for people who prepurchased the basic expansion through NCsoft, so they can get the costume bits and stuff. If you preorder through Gamestop, you don't have to buy anything else to get all the goodies.

Go in game and type [Shadowy Presence].

If it is I have no problem doing that

and looking around a bit doesn't seem to be a way to do that from a user standpoint
For the moment, since you aren't sure on how you're going to structure it, just create a page within your userspace. For instance, if your username was Durakken, you would do something like create this page:

    http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/User:Durakken/Lore
(it currently doesn't exist, obviously; you would have to put some text there to create it)

Then, each subpage would have to be created:
    http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/User:Durakken/Lore
    http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/User:Durakken/Lore/Timeline
    http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/User:Durakken/Lore/Rikti
    http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/User:Dur.../Hro'Dtohz
    http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/User:Dur...er/Other_Stuff

If you ended up getting it fleshed out enough to merit its own section in the wiki, you (or an admin) would then move it to:
    http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Lore
...and the subpages would need to be moved as well. I would recommend, if you plan on doing something like this, to just fiddle with layouts/breadcrumbs before working on the actual articles. Only do a few articles to completion before submitting them to the wiki forum for consensus on moving it to main namespace. Wiki forum:

When you are on some kind of /hide, it says [YOU ARE HIDDEN] when you reply to someone, and it says that you are hidden or offline to the person that sent you the /tell; it does not give an auto-reply. That'd completely defeat the purpose of /hiding from /tells.

  12. Rick is not affiliated with Titan Network. He misspoke.

I am affiliated with Titan Network (as an admin at Paragon Wiki), and while I think the idea is interesting, I doubt the rest of Titan would want to host another wiki, especially since it would cover information that could easily be added to Paragon Wiki (as long as it is sourced, any information can be added to PWiki).

The Ouroboros Portal is for player-created content (character pages, supergroup pages, fiction, etc), so this would not belong there.

I have stated the fact, and I have seen others state the fact, that global mail circumvents the character->character email filter a large number of times since I17 went into open beta. In fact, it might even be on ParagonWiki, but I'm too lazy to look. If it's not, it should be, since it's a tidbit that a very large number of players are not aware of.

Also, telling him via PM doesn't tell the other people reading this thread (legitimate players or no) about that fact.

And honestly, I'm hoping they start using the global mail for spam. Then the devs have to realize that their filtering is subpar at best.

So the tool that's there to greatly restrict unwanted email is now hampered by a new feature.
Global mail circumvents the filter. It's only character->character mail that gets filtered. Global->global mail gets through no matter what the filter's set at.

No developer said that. It was an OCR member that said something similar. (I think Niviene? I am too lazy to go looking in the announcements forum.) They said there were NO PLANS for preorder bonuses. They NEVER EVER said there would NEVER EVER be preorder bonuses. Why do people insist on misrepresenting what the rednames said?

You keep trying to bring morality into a business decision that has nothing to do with ethics or morality.

At the time that they said "there are no plans for preorder bonuses", there were no plans for preorder bonuses. How does morality come into this statement?

Later on down the line, they get an offer they would be stupid to refuse from Gamestop for preorder bonuses. This does not invalidate their previous statement that, at the time of prepurchase release, there were no plans for preorder bonuses. There is no morality in this decision. It's pure business.

YOU are the one trying to assign some kind of moral ambiguity to their decision, when morals have nothing to do with it.

In fact, with over a hundred characters, I probably already have a character with flamey boots.

Uh, they never said they WOULDN'T. They said there were no plans to, at the time. And there weren't. There is a very big difference. One means they went back on their word (tantamount to lying). The other means they changed their minds. They have also said there are no current plans to offer a second preorder bonus through another store. But that doesn't mean "definitely will not make plans", it means "there are no plans RIGHT NOW".

No, the function that the game uses definitely matters. It might not matter TO YOU, but it definitely matters to the game. The game doesn't have BoP, end of discussion, finalized by Castle. The only thing it has is restrictions in trades/sales/etc. Because games break in weird ways, a BoP style function would break in different ways than restricting trades/sales/etc.

And believe me, to any game designer/programmer, there is DEFINITELY a difference in BoP and trade/sale/etc. restriction. And we have plenty of those in our midst.
  23. I'm pretty sure they removed UCP viewing of comments because it was broken. You couldn't keep the comments collapsed (so they would open up every time you visited UCP), and because of this, people saw all the awful things people had to say, anonymously, about them, regardless if it was true or not. [edit: And I'm not saying this because I saw other people comment about it. It happened to me personally, every time I visited my UCP to check out my favorite threads/forums, I saw the comment list and had to re-collapse it.]

Turn off the UCP listing and you've solved about 80% of the problem of rep in the first place. The other 20% could be solved by turning off the rep plugin.
