That Atlas Park looks way better than most of the zones we have in Paragon City today, including the new Atlas Park. It looks like an actual city. Dapancaq happened?

Quote:Devs don't like the idea of Patrons. They've said this once or twice on Coffee Talks. If they're gonna go through all the trouble of introducing new Pool Powers anyone can access without having to pick a mentor and sludge through an arc first, why would they take a step backwards mechanically and introduce another batch of Pool Powers afterwards with ridiculous hoops to jump through to unlock? Especially considering today's story telling has evolved to let us actually be the stars, it'd be taking a step backwards in writing as well for us to admit we're weak and need the training of some "big shot hero" in order to be stronger.Since it's been less than three months, I don't think it counts as a necro...
But, with the new pools coming out (Sorcery, and the leaked "Worce of Fill" set), I honestly think the idea of new Patrons might not be so far-fetched. In fact, it could be closer than ever before! I hope...
Also, it is a necro. Again. I think the new Necro limit is around a month. Someone will probably post a quote of the official rule. -

Bam. The Powerpuff Girls got away with all sorts of actual bloody dismemberment and violence, whereas you'll never see any animated version of Wolverine actually use his claws for something other than chopping guns or robots in half.

They've all already kind of leaked, actually. One involves scientific Experimentation. Another allows you to harness your Force of Will. One of them is a powerset revolving around your genius in the ways of Gadgetry. And finally no Batman-inspired hero would be complete without their Utility Belt.

Quote:This would be a good idea, actually. That, and making sure the sounds are subtle and appropriate. Like you can hear the low rumble of the chainsaw if you zoom right up to your character, but if the camera's a few yards away it's barely noticeable.Wait... you did not say it was a technologicall issue... Can we have two versions, one that buzzzes when I hit and one that does not.
Let the player decide if his attacks buzz or dont!
I doubt it'll get added, and I couldn't care that much either way, but it's something to consider playing with in the future. -
Including your own opinion on this thread? Someone wanted to say something, they made a thread. Happens all the time, it ain't stopping anytime soon.

Zwill is popping onto random servers right now, giving the codes away in a sort of hide 'n seek game thing.

Quote:They'd be like the Flat blades. Only chainsaw blades come out, instead. They can just shrink the Titan chain saw to six inches and paste three of them on each of your mitten hands!
I was joking, but I started thinking about it . . . AND NOW I WANT THEM TOO!
Honestly any sort of update for Claws is welcome. Aside from the recent Mecha set, it gets zero love. -
Quote:Unless a dev comes out and says it's deliberate, I'm not buying it. This is a world with Icon. I'm sure Serge would've popped in and been like "No, you're not going outside in that. Let me find you something better."Indeed. I think the ugliness of her costume is deliberate. It's something that a teenager or young adult would throw together in an attempt to find their own identity. So... it makes sense!
Penny will develop a better sense of fashion and style eventually, one that is all her own. That sort of thing doesn't come right away for everyone!
Honestly, it wouldn't be so bad if she just lost the face dealies and if the midriff/white leg tights were replaced with the same black design her top half used. It's like her bottom half is doing one thing, her top half another, and someone decided after it was finished to slap on a midriff just for the helluvit. It's just not consistent. -
I think Penny Yin needs a new costume. But only because her current one sucks and is inconsistent with itself.

Looks like the Skulls got a serious facelift. Also we finally got that Cyrus Thompson Memorial Center.

Quote:And just like that, I'm skipping that arc.Brickstown (3 arcs, 30-50) - The Praetorians are migrating to Primal Earth cuz their place is trashed. Provost Marchand is trying to give Praetorians a more positive image by forming a new super group 'New Praetorians'. Kick off to the arc is to recruit people for the group. The first mission is hunting for Marauder to recruit, as he's still in Praetoria. He hasn't been seen since Lambda Sector.
Looking forward to Kings Row, though. Sucks it's not at least getting higher resolution textures like the buildings in AP or DA did. -
Only if the window for choosing powers/slotting enhancements could be minimized so I can witness the fireworks and explosions while respecing.

Don't forget the part where Cole nukes Nova Praetoria in both an effort to kill the Incarnates, and because he's pretty much taking his ball and going home.

It actually did. She never managed to escape on her own, nor did anyone even know she was being held there. The only reason she got out was because Malta were actually written to be Malta for once; an organization that has infiltrated military organizations, works from the shadows, and are more focused on subtle espionage than throwing a million robots and goons at a problem.

Last I heard, Power Pools, Patron Pools, and Ancillary Pools are customizable. The only powers you can't customize are Hero/Villain Epic Archetypes.

The devs probably don't want people burning through all their content in one day, getting bored, then leaving the game that much sooner.
