  1. The man who looked like a priest merely smiled, standing by the group ready to go to the apartment. He kept quiet, but watched and listened closely. Truth be told, he still had no idea where he was, why, or how. So far, the people here had seemed at least somewhat amiable...

And he could always cut his way out if things turned nasty, after all.

    2. No. Hell no. Coding and RP nightmare

    3. Yes. Hell yes.

As others have said, you are whining.

Also, these are not "raids" in the sense of raids in other games. You form a team, and these things are usually done in under 30 minutes. OH NOES THE HORRORS! 30 MINUTES OF EFFORT!
OH NOES! Someone having a different exprience from me that they find unenjoyable! I must pour sarcasm and rhetoric on them for daring to have their own likes, dislikes and opinons! I WANT THEM TO SHUT UP TO STOP INCONVENIENCING ME (somehow!)!

Whining about whining...strewth, only on the internet.
Yes, I realise thats also a double irony. Sue me.

You, and many other players, are for some reason hung up on the idea that you are entitled to play the game your way, and how you like.

Let me clue you in. You. Are Not.

Now do the rest of the forums and the game a favor, knock the whining off.
    1. So, they should simply give up developing the game totally, by that logic. Newsflash, EVERY player is whiny and obnoxious from time to time.

    2. So, you pay their subs for them now? Or someone else does?
No? Thought not. Your 'point' here is utterly moot.

    3. We get it, Saist. You're always right. Of course you are. You're the master of scathing and bileous sarcasm and put down. Everyone should just shut up and admit how wrong they are, cowed by the infinite wisdom of your good self.
Doesn't read so well like that, does it?
  5. I see I'm not high enough on 'The List' yet
    I'll get you yet, Steelclaw!

Silver pulled up, letting his passenger out first. Then his front hood split open, the body of the Paragon Protector effectively spat out from the containment space in front. Even as the man tried to rise there was a whirring and shifting metallic sound, followed by Silver's hand flattening him to the floor again.

Where he promptly exploded. Fire roared around the cybertronian, a snarling ball of flame.
When it extinguished, Silver raises a mechanical eyebrow.
"Done yet?" he asked, before tapping the mans helmet. It didn't seem like much, but the readings the crew might get suggested a localised EMP burst, just enough to neutralise all circuits in the helm for a good half hour or more.
Somewhat spent, the man stopped straining against the metal hand, cursing quietly under his breath as he looked up at the aliens around them...

  8. I am Techbot ALPHA. I approve of this post. So do my many guns
  9. Whichever one was RP'd best and made the effort to interact and developt the character

It's not the concept that sells a character, it's how they are played that makes a difference. You could have the coolest concept ever let down by a player who is dull and predictable with it. And then someone with a very simple concept could be more 'fun' as it were.
  10. Psionics work well with SJ or Fly I find, or even TP. Telekinetically propelling yourself off the ground, or bending the matter of reality until you simply ceases to exist in one place and exist in another, etc.

As to fun...thats entirely up to you
  11. Off-topic: It sounds like GR, but without the shades of grey and moral choices.
And I still hate the graphicsal style. /opinion
  12. Yup, the Crew (gonna start calling them that XD) are the best at picking up wierdness so far.

  13. It'd be nice if the base damage of DP was beefed up, to make it so you didn't 'Need' (yes I know, that one word is going to get people moaning at it) Incendiary just to do comparitive damage, thanks to DPs longer animations. Dam/perA wise, I'm pretty sure DP lags behind nearly every other set. The two other lethal sets, AR and Archery, make up for the common damage type with either very fast animations (Archery) or high damage and massive AoE capacity (AR).
DP has niether, and it's main selling point Swap Ammo really doesn't do much to help close the gap, certainly not in my experience of Blasters.
  14. Well, if people actually try and investigate the notably suspicious activities of the Protectors and SWAT teams, given Silver has one hostage and the Gonarov Crew have a SWAT comm unit, I for one thought that was a plot hook. Maybe I'm 100% mistaken and should just give up now. Not like seemingly out of the blue attacks are enough to get people suspicious or anything, apparently... >_<

Oh, and Sword Bayonet Guy isn't a native

  16. Didn't they say there were going to rename the trial accounts to 'Somethingsomething12344566578' etc? Like, explicitly said that due to it being a major concern?

    Why the sudden U turn?
  17. Defences and for the love of pete SLOW resistance in Dwarf form.
Anti-mez (Mag 4) in Human form
    Shapeshifting animations halved.

That alone would make life more bearable

He patted the pocket into which he'd slipped the communications unit with those words, then wanted to know, "Would you take me there? I'll give you directions..."
The engine revved, and Silver pulled in front of him, the door clicking and swinging open.
"Hop in. Quicksilver's the name, by the way, or just Silver," the Autobot added.
  19. If you get hit by the Swarms, even that isn't an option anymore. They magically have -Teleport now. One of the only enemies in game capable of doing that, and their a bunch of bugs.....really? *sigh*

  21. They need to add a map while their fixing the horrible level range bug (WAI or not, it's still a load of utter *******s)
Trying to navigate those tunnels with ******* -every travel power Swarms, high con DE and miles to go is....not fun, shall we say. I have some choice words for the first, last and only Eden trial I ever ran.
  22. As an active lifesign blipped up on Silver's sensors after the recent chaos had somewhat over-laoded them with unknown data, he slowed, spun and drove back to pull up alongside the alien crewman.

"Well...that went...uh...interesting?" he hazarded. "I grabbed one of the guys who tried to leg it. You, uh...got any plans? Or are we kinda in the deep soup right about now?"
  23. "Give up it is, then," the swordsman mused, the blades disappearing about his person once more. He straightened up, his smile and features suddenly losing their manic edge and his entire stance seeming a lot more natural.

"As fer worlds, some of us just arrived. I dinae what else's been going on t'night, but I'm afraid ye're going to have to lay this at the feet o' someone else," he added to the younger Mulligan, before walking to the edge of the rooftop and standing with his hands folded behind his back. "Hmm. Beautiful night out... Shame about those glowing wall-things..."

    ---

    Independence Port;

The cops and Protectors fled...except for the Blaster. Caught off guard, the icey blast didn't freeze him solid, due to the firey nature of his powers, but it was enough to drag him to the ground again, slogging onward as his armour struggled between frost and flame.

Silver, who until now had been resigned to watching the fight from the sidelines, took the opportunity to act now; the Autobot transformed and sped towards the human, transforming back to pounce on him.
"Gotcha," he muttered, trying to calculate the force needed to knock a humanod out without injuring them. The point was moot, as the warring of fire and frost combined with the sudden squash and scooping up had been enough to drain the last of the Protectors energy reserves.

With a shrug, Silver transformed again, the human restrained in an internal compartment as he sped away, preventing the one lead they might have to what was happening from being eaten by a ravening monster, and also trying to track down just where everyone else had gone...
  24. Run. Fast. Try like hell not to get spotted.
    Die. Lots.
    Yaaaaaaay!

Yeah, in case folks hadn't guessed I really dislike Lambda for shafting me, and much prefer BAF.
  25. Drenched through and with water driving off the glowing silver bayonets, the other zealous fighter stood and laughed, pausing only to push his glasses back up his face.

"Well well, even other spawn see fit t'bring you down," he leered as she scraped both blades tips along the ground, concrete and metal screeching together. "I suggest you give up or die. No ones comin' te save ye, no one can save ye from me," he added. "Ye take the name of the Lord...and ah find ye wantin'."
