    What are you talking about?

    Ninjas are a great primary.
  5. Why don't you guys do stuff like this in pocket D so villains can get in on it?

When it comes to stalkers, there's one simple rule to remember.

AS is AS. So with that in mind, just about any stalker primary is viable for PvP. Next thing you need to look at or think about it, is a powerset with a good followup attack after AS.

So if there was one set that I would suggest you NOT make. It's Dual Blades. The follow up attacks are pretty terribad. The animations are too damn long for you to be able to do any real damage.

What stalker primaries would I suggest?
Pick any of the following, in no particular order. It all depends on how you want to play the stalker/playstyle.

Martial Arts, Energy Melee, Dark melee, Electric Melee, Claws, and spines. All of those are viable and each has their own little twist. They each bring something different to the table.

I purposely left out broadsword because I haven't even tested this set in pvp but just from what I've seen, it's got VERY long animations. So it appears to suffer the same downside as dual blades.

When it comes to secondary, I would suggest any of the following.

    Ninjitsu
    Willpower
    Regen

Hope that answers your question. At least for stalkers.

It's funny you talk about using the stealth power as a "temp help to not die" but you were doing the same when you 1v1ed Nappy.

You gotta shark. Just like everyone else in RV.

Real men use sharks. They run up to you point blank and SHAAAAAAAAAAARRRKKKKKK!!!!!!

Screw that AS power, why the hell would I use an interruptable hand snipe, when I can SHAAAAAARRRRRRKKKKKKKKK??

AS takes too much so I respecced out of that power, useless hand snipe...

The problem here is that it's a very fine line for both us and them to walk - I understand the frustration many players have about the current system and their want to vent that frustration on a redname when they actually show up in-game, and I understand the devs' want to get some insight into what's actually happening with the game at the moment. I don't know if they'll make themselves known if they ever do decide to show up or if they'll just casually watch without us knowing, but if we do end up bumping into devs on live watching our matches, please remember to be at the very least reasonable and cool-headed. Don't bombard them with questions and insults, and don't try and ask for the old system back. If we do get time to sit down and talk with a dev on live, we need to offer our suggestions simply and give support for those suggestions in order to make any meaningful change.

Personally I'm still a bit wary about extensive dev involvement after I13 - I and many others I've spoken with want changes to be made, but don't want a bunch of changes that aren't what anyone asked for. I think it's a safe bet to say that we need to make ourselves approachable in order for real dialogue to happen, and we need to be asking for minor tweaks and fixes rather than overhauls of entire systems (like getting particular powers looked at before we focus on getting things like travel suppression or heal decay modified).
Personally, I'd rather have them not touch a ******* thing. They've already shown us how little they know, how dumb they are, and how little they give a damn about the player base.

If they touch something again, you might see AR/ being the next FOTM. Watch Full Auto do i12blaze type damage.

Yeah move the emp. I just moved my stalker, gonna move my thermal soon.
  13. So apparently, arena temps are OP according to some people.

Read below. The names have been slightly altered to conceal the identities of the idiot.

[Arena] ELK TALKER: you use the temp stealth...
[Arena] ELK TALKER: force to a tie
    [Arena] The Dude: so what???
[Arena] The Dude its a arena temp
[Arena] ELK TALKER: like i said you need help .... to not die
[Arena] The Dude: they sure were when u beat me?
[Arena] ELK TALKER: see what you sayign.. you need temp to tie with me... ( temp help ) to tie.... meanign your powers you pick is not enough to beat me

ELK Talker was dueling the The Dude. The Dude was using a temp stealth power cause ELK TALKER didn't bring a toon with any perception. So ELK TALKER couldn't see The Dude cause The Dude was stealthed. OH NOES!!

So yeah be warned, DON'T USE ARENA TEMP POWERS, THEY'RE OP AND NEED TO BE NERFED!!

"Excuse me good sir. I will now proceed to attack you, please sir will you kindly inform me when this exchange of blows become too uncomfortable for you and your ego so that I will refrain from stomping all over it. "

No sorry, PvP zones is probably the worst place to learn to pvp. If you want to really learn and have fun, the best place is the arena. Kickball matches are a great place to get to smash someone's face in for 10,15, or hell 30 minutes.

Zones are the wildwest. And 99% of the time, it contains most "jacktards".

Most jacktards won't go into the arena cause there's no base to run to. There's no heavy to help them. When you're in the arena, you're in a virtual boxing ring.

Anyways, long story short, if you wanna have real fun. Go to the arena. Zones are a bad place to start.

Oh snap son! Friday the 13th. Srs bsn tiem.
  16. IOs don't' define who wins a fight. Experience and skill does.

But it's a cool concept, I'll give you that much.
  17. Nothing like the same.

Fossilize hits you for 253.2 points of smashing damage!!!

False statement is still false. People have teamed long enough to be good together and have a big head.

I beg to differ. Everyone with the exception of pretty much you and 4shes, has teamed together and does have experience together.

Myself, Droe/Konquess, Scribe, Ultima, Loonbow, have all teamed together before Get Wrecked was even formed.

rofl. That's pretty damn funny. All those SGs are terribad and none of them actually know how to play on a villain team nor have they even tried playing a villain toon.
Untouchables, Darkguard, HoJ, and PoN aren't even PvP SGs. Exile tried being a pvp SG but they never even went to the test server and they would hardly be considered an "active" PvP SG.

Just ask Targus and Elf-Stalker since they run many very well trained groups. The same names keep coming up, that is not by coincedence, they simply have had a lot of time to perfect their tactics and have made the most of it.
I don't have to. Check out the quote below.

Hmmm maybe i have it backwards? Many villians have come heroside? Have to ask the pro's themselves. Targus and Elf did you guys start Redside or Blueside or do you feel you tried to be good at both at the same time? I picked these guys because i see them more than others.
You see them more than others eh? I don't see you, so I'm inclined to believe your making up all of this.

Why don't you do us all a favor and not respond in this thread. It's pretty obvious you don't know who any of the former or current pvpers are.
