So, are we ready to pronounce judgment on their character and mete out divine justice to those found wanting?

When you buy the CoT Bundle, it prices each element at ~33 points each to equal 400 points.
But when you look them up separately, there almost twice as much for each piece. -

I, too, often rely on clipping to make new pieces look awesome.
Bring on the clipping. We can handle the clipping! -

Quote:Yeah, it should be: http:// na.cityofheroes.com/en/about_freedom/freedom_overview.phpHowever, if you click on the "Learn More" link off the splash page you get a 403 Forbidden error, which is a schoolboy cockup.
Seriously, I expect better from people using Frontpage Express.
But it is the broken link of: http://na.cityofheroes.com/en/about_freedom/ -
A better way to view the FREEDOM trailer is with this link (and even better to download it and view):

Oh, and: How do I find the Circle of Thrones in Kins Row? -

Quote:Well, at one time, that may have been the case. In a previous Community Rep administration, they clearly didn't want to spend any time doing forum moderation and the forums were a bit of a wild frontier especially Suggestions which became an argufest. So, it was moved to For Fun to indicate it wasn't sanctioned or watched or much moderated.Something that has been bugging me since yesterday, why is the 'Suggestions' forum in the 'For Fun' section of the forums?
Are we just waisting our time with our suggestions, since they are just for fun?
However, things have changed. Stronger moderation leads to less junk threads. The Devs have said on multiple occasions that they do indeed read Suggestions. Thus, it should be moved out of the wasteland of For Fun.
Quote:I'm doing this odd thing called engaging the Community in a discussion and taking into account their considerations before making a decision about the forums that many of the people here spend a sizable portion of their day on.
Quote:The intent of this is not to quell your voices from being heard. Moreso to prevent players from doing things like spamming forums, posting in *every* *single* *thread* with the same message, or otherwise post in a way that's non constructive.
Typical. When you do a revue of a structure to see what's surplus, you wind up also seeing what's missing. -

And because no one did maintenance server on the weekend, you could be sure that Sunday night meant degrading play experience until the servers crashed.

Batman has to commit the perceived weakness of the Justice League to a computer file?
He can't remember: Kryptonite, yellow, fire, men, AoE? -
Upon log in to Beta, my characters are locked as if I was Premium and I get the "Hey, you're Premium" pop-up. This happened after the make-everyone-a-premium-account test on Beta and has not reverted itself since. However, in every other way, the Beta server treats my account as VIP.

Quote:Just a bug. Until fixed, the enhancement values do show up correctly under the Enhance Tab in the Display Window (the little box in the lower left).I know it's not the exact some issue as the OP had, but it seemed close enough to post here, as it is a Mids question, too...
Some of my old builds pull up well enough, and show the IO assignments, but Mids doesn't seem to be calculating the totals any more. Specifically, some powers, when I mouse over them, show something like the following:
Buff/Debuff Value
Accuracy:
Damage: 83.74% (Pre-ED: 85.26%)
EnduranceDiscount:
Range:
Recharge:
In the above example, I have 5 of the 6 Posi Blasts in place, so obviously some of the values other than damage should have some modifiers.
Is there a new switch or toggle I should be aware of? -
RE: Merging Announcement and Discussion (of Announcements)
It's my understanding that these are two separate forums so that:
- People can browse announcements without having to download lengthy discussion threads; and,
- If the forum database needs to be trimmed, you can delete the discussion while leaving the history of important announcements.
RE: Merging Community and Developer Digests
The reason they're two separate forums is because players asked for it! When you want to follow the important Dev-posts for information regarding the game, you don't want to have to sift through the many more post from Community Reps on topics like server downtimes or announcement of one-time player events. -
Quote:Unfortunately, sound options are not saved in the option list file, and thus can't be set with the option set command. Nor is there a separate slash command for sound settings.Do you have something similar for changing sound settings?

I also celebrate an unbirthday, too. But are there any open grave icons for that? No! Totally discriminatory.

When you join a group, tell them, "I have Group Fly for my pets. If you don't want Group Fly applied to you, don't forget to turn it off by visiting Null the Gull in Pocket D."
-
Add these to other 'broken' NPCs:
Spectrals with their -ToHit
Rularuu and Cimerorans with their -Def
Illusionists with their phasing
Vanguard Magi with their -End and -Res
Succubi with their Confuse
EB rezzers/ambushers
Final Bosses with some unresistable damage, especially in patch form (move or lose)
So, um, yeah... business as usual. And I love it.
Nice to see the uber Defense ATs sweat once in a while, especially when squishies have the tools to circumvent the foes' gimmick. -
Quote:We might have to petition the Devs to change that if that's WAI, because I don't want to be spammed with requests to pay the rent of Premium players.Preems can't pay rent, the registar won't even display the "pay rent now" option to a Preem. If he invites a ViP to his supergroup and gives that Vip rent paying permissions your friend can get his rent paid, enter his base and edit all he wants. He'll just need a ViP to pay rent whenever it comes due.
