I'm no stranger to Electric Blast, but the thought of coupling it with Fire Manipulation has been intriguing me. Normally they say it's Fire/Fire for AoE goodness, but thinking about it, Fire Breath requires positioning in order to hit maximum targets, which in the heat of battle may not be possible.

With Elec/Fire, there would be four click AoE damage powers: Ball Lightning, Short Circuit, Combustion and Fire Sword Circle. Add to this Blazing Aura and Hot Feet, and Teleport to get you into the middle of the group, things look interesting. The idea behind Arctic Mastery is for Snow Storm, cast that on the group, and along with Hot Feet slowing them down it should trap people for burn and in range of the PBAOE damage toggles.

I don't have anywhere else to put those slots. I abstained from the melee power path with Zortel, works fine for me, my clicks are slotted 3 recharge, and my attacks are all six slotted, well, apart from Power Push. The rest of the slots go into my Force Epic, and anything else I can think of. Like... Rest! Plus FoN will help with all those little things like soloing EB's without having to chug as many oranges and purples. (I'm looking at you, Envoy!)

Well, Zorielle and Tessa will be there, along with Jessica. Jane'll drop by to wish Ellie luck, grab as much free grub as possible. Even Walsers drops by! Hannah would have come, but someone needed to look after the twins.

Mind also has Mass Hypnosis. In a solo situation, you can fire it off without worrying about people using AoE's to wake the mobs up.

No Build Up or Firey Embrace? It does boost non-fire damage attacks as well. Hit both and go slaughter a boss with your tier 8+9 secondary attacks.

Electric has a hold and a res shield that does Slashing, Lethal and Energy resistance, as well as a PBAoE Disorient and a cone attack. Seems quite a nice little set.

Force is a mainly defensive set. Personal Force Field can be thrown up when retreating or in a dangerous situation, but can't be attacked through. Repulsion Field can help keep enemies out of melee range, but drains endurance. Temp Invun gives okay S/L resistance, and you get Force of Nature, a mini unstoppable that when used in a tough situation may just turn the tide.

These are personally my two favourites, followed by Munitions.

My blaster's level 20, no stamina, doing fine as she is solo. When I get a few more slots for End Modifiers and Power Sink it'll be a breeze. Your milage may vary though.

I've taken both and find each has its uses. Power Boost for increasing my hover speed in combat, buffing up the To Hit of Build Up/Aim, and aiding in knocking down foes. Boost Range is great for when I'm needed to pull something or need to fire out of range of another group.

PFF is a godsend. On my level 22 Mind/FF controller, I walked into the Arachnos Base past the defences using PFF, and during the Tyrant mission it guarded me from several blows from him (Until he Bone Smasher'd me for 6k damage.)

Y'know, I've resisted this post for a while, but that coming from BRICK000, whose conduct over broadcast about the arena in Galaxy City is less than 'constructive', makes me think of the pot calling the kettle black.

If I was going to be intimidating and rip a story to shreds, I'd rip it to shreds. But no, I pointed out things in the story, suggested ways to change them and also, at the end of my post I did say that with some work it could be an interesting story with potential. Yes, perhaps I could have sugar-coated my words for easier to swallow abilities, but 'tis a little late for that.

The second part that Ryther put up shows a bit more of that promise. Yes, there are still tweakings that could be done with the writing style (Capitalization, mostly. While not important to the content of the story, it does make it read better.), it gives a reason to why two enemies might team up together, in this case to fight back against the strength of the heroes in their 'turf', the Hollows. Perhaps a little more descriptive text and emotion is needed from the main characters, but then again it's easy to get bogged down in it, and even I find it hard sometimes to get that balence right.
