Elec/Elec no stamina build advice?
My blaster's level 20, no stamina, doing fine as she is solo. When I get a few more slots for End Modifiers and Power Sink it'll be a breeze. Your milage may vary though.
I have Power Sink and Stamina, and have very few problems, and I'm working on a build that will continue fighting straight after a Thunderous Blast. I do think I should be able to work with Shocking Grasp though, but it will probably be at the expense of a melee attack, which is part of the whole surviving after a Thunderous Blast. Hm.
Well can only give advise about the blast part cause my elec/elec blaster has been on hold for a long time.
But my Dark/Elec defender has a great time with the Elec part .
Zap slot for 1 reduce interuption time (have 2 reduce interuption time) and Zap can be used in combat especially together with tesla cage , while the animation will always take 6 seconds the reduce interuption time will reduce that actual interuption by 2 sec making you able to move while its still in the activation/animation sequence. the damage is quite good , slot with 1 endredux its a quite good sniper attack or blast. if the attack is lucky to return endurance (sighs) its quite a lot .
If you plan on not taking stamina , the endurance regained from attacks works on the system of chance 20% chance if my testing was correct .
So the more attacks you fire off the more chance you have of regaining that endurance back .
its actually quite nice ,not great, but nice when the attack returns endurance .
And yes the endurance drain issue is eh ... well ah lets see if they can fix the endurance regained part then , if we canĀ“t drain .
Slot one more end redux in ball of lighting if its that in your chain .
Im curious to see how ur getting on with this build
Currently my blaster is 32 and i got too many cool powers to still come and i wanna drop stuff, would to take all the elec primaries and secondaries
i will try and post more sometime but not now, if uwant to talk about it then im happy too, i have a perfectly invincible solo/team build somewhere without stamina from when i didnt have it (got it for pvp after 50).
please feel free to global tell me though

Er, well.. I've had problems getting into playing the blaster again since abandoning it sometime before I6. I don't think it's because of the build, though. It does pretty well endurancewise and as long as I pay attention to the blue bar and use Power Sink regularly, I never really run out. Funnily enough, what I miss most is Health and to some extent Hurdle.
I can't remember if this is the exact build I went for but it's something in the ballpark.
agree, i missed hurdle the most, do on all my toons without it tbh, health isnt something you want really, go aid self and take advantage of defiance + massive control of elec.

Id love to be brave enough to think outside the box when it comes to hero building, i seem to pick up fitness as a matter of course.
Saying that i did try out a build with shockwave on the test with no fitness and droped fly in favour of leeping for accrobatics and aid self, along with power sink this seem to work well for pvp didnt get to test it on pve.
Still dont think i would go for this build on the live server as i still do alot of pve and imo the fitness pool is an advantage for this.

[/ QUOTE ]Odd that you find this Wave, the sole reason I have stamina is too allow me do more sustained dmg 1 on 1 in PvP without the need to either rest or sink opponents. In PvE it is far easier to control mobs using holds, and position them with KB for Power Sink usage (2 mobs = 100% end). Also my PvE build had only Charged Armour as a toggle, now I use the leaping toggles too.

I'm trying to get back to playing my long-abandoned elec/elec blaster and am considering dropping Stamina now that I have Power Sink and the ST attacks have the chance to return some endurance. Do you think this will be viable? I will try it out on test server anyway, but it can be hard to get a feel on how it will feel when playing with a team so I'd appreciate advice from anyone who has tried playing elec/elec with no Stamina. My solo fights tend to end very quickly, whatever the result

Some notes:
Someone will probably cry out at the dmg enhancements in Electric Fence. Well, I figured that it has the same range and same damage as Charged Bolts, only it's DoT, so since I have to get it anyway I can use it to pick off those with a sliver of health and as an attack chain filler, and skip Charged Bolts completely. It does admittedly leave me with a pretty gimped ranged attack chain but hey, my melee will rule. I could consider moving the damage slots somewhere as end reductions if you think that's advisable.
I know that endurance drain is in a sorry state right now but since States actually apologised for it I'm hoping things will get better soon. I was kind of expecting to hear something before this, though. Anyway, until then Short Circuit can still be somewhat useful as extra AoE damage with some drain.
2 travel powers might look a bit silly but SS is actually for my stealthing needs, thought I might as well get it since I'm getting Hasten anyway. Other alternatives for Stealth and Hurdle would be Voltaic Sentinel or Lightning Clap, but I don't feel too bad about giving them up. I always forget to cast Sparky, or if I do remember him then Sparky forgets to fire. And the knockback in Lightning Clap scatters mobs a bit much to my taste, seems like a bad combo with Short Circuit and especially Power Sink since that's such a small AoE.
