Taunt is far far far too late in the build.

You won't need two Acc's in anything when you get Focused Acc slotted up.

Shouldn't need those extra slots in SJ.

Think about getting Weave in there somewhere. Some Def is a lot better than no Def IMHO.

Barrage can be dropped for other things. Its weak and once you get the other EM attacks, there's little use for it.

There's other minor slotting stuff, but that's more personal preference.

Hopefully that sounded constructive.

Umm Tanks can't drop Barrage . Maybe you meant drop the slots and put them in other things?

Yes, unlesss you really feel the need to, the slots in Barrage can probably go elsewhere.

Blazing aura and taunt are way too late if you want to be a aggro-manager. Put 1 slot extra in BA, add a endrdx to it since it has a high end-usage.
See if you can drop 1 power and get buildup, specialy before TF/ET your damage output aint realy big (burn you need a aoe imm/hold/patch).
I added a bunch more endrdx on powers/heal, even with stamina i tend to run out of endurance eventualy. Consume helps alot, but against freaks (quite common) it can be pretty hard to deal with. Specialy cause i dont see hasten in your build.

For me blazing aura and taunt would be worked in by lvl 10 because perhaps the team safer i can keep the team the safer they can keep me. I say perhaps as you can always get someone that can make life harder than it needs to be or someone not concentrating on their primary roles or even understanding their powers well enough to use them at the required moments on the right people or have a momentary slip up.

Blazing aura would be 3 acc, 1 end and 2 taunt and taunt would be 2 rec 2 taunt to be sufficient enough for my liking plus atleast 1 endurance in all the attacks. 1 acc slot with focused accuracy is fine i would of thought for energy melee but with any hold/major disorient type power keeping 2 accs is better.

To gain the slots i wouldnt even take burn and have RotP 1 recharge, well itll be a different build anyway.

Why all that super jump slotting btw?

Don't bother with Energy punch and get Healing Flames at level 2. Get Blazing Aura and or Taunt by level 10. Get Bonesmasher at level 4 if you are going to delay Blazing Aura.

Blazing Aura is pretty good and will probably provide most of your damage output until level 35, the rest will come from Whirling Hands.


@Unthing ... Mostly on Union.

blazing aura only at 28
and taunt at 47????
that's not a tank ^^ it's a scranker^

no seriously, blazing aura must be take in the first ten lvl
that will be the major source of your damage, and your major aggro magnet....
it's one of the best power of the fire primary ^^
take taunt before.

same things for consume. the fire tank is the tank with the more toggle.... your stamina will drop really quickly before you get stamina at 20, take it before!
(and it's a good aoe taunt)

no fiery embrace too???
100 boost damage for 20s on fire and 10 s with letal/smash ^^
you need it!

i've seen recently some tank without taunt and aura before 30...
they are [censored], cos they think they are tank, but not!!! scrapper are better than these type of tank

In my experiance you dont even need taunt,blazing aura is great for taunting just use that,I have done for the last 5 lvls and have had no problems without taunt......I would even go as far to say that it is a waist of a power choice on a fire tank because we cant even take that much aggro anyway.

If you really really need a ranged taunt this late, pick energy torrent or laser beam eyes. At least it does damage.

Anyway, you should try and work Build up and Fiery embrace in your build. I'd drop Taunt and RoTP.

2 slots in SJ, and hurdle, will get you so close to the cap you won't feel much of a difference with the third.

Blazing aura should be 6-slotted IMO, I like 1acc/2end/3dam. It's your best damage power, as it's a AoE that ticks every second and doesn't take any animation time.
