Was able to get on a couple BAFs (2 fails in a row) wednesday by being in the LFG and also the other night was in a league about to start before the servers died. Does Evis still run them daily at 4?
They're being run daily starting around 7pm Eastern or so (and possibly later). I know myself and some other people have moved to DA to form them up. This way trials won't interrupt MS raids or LGTFs forming up. Check out The Bulwark neighborhood marker, as that's where most are forming.

Send me a tell from your other account and I'll invite you to ChampioNexus. Many trials are advertized there. Depending on your preferences, you may also want to try some other global channels. Bottom line is that the best way to find out what is going on is through global channels. They're only going to be of use if you have them added to your chat/account.

It's very straight forward. Just got it with a league Neutrio put together. I'd recommend checking out this post for badge info. Congrats all!
  3. Congrats on a successful DD trial! Thanks to everyone who came to help with this.
  4. Since i22 is scheduled to launch on Tuesday March 6th, I'd like to schedule a run at the brand new iTrial, Dilemma Diabolique. Please note this trial contains level shifted enemies! The mobs are 54+2 and the AVs are 54+3! Therefore, please bring your shifted characters to give the trial the best chance at success.

We will be forming in the new Dark Astoria near The Bulwark neighborhood marker at 7:30pm Eastern on Tuesday March the 6th.

  5. Just wanted to add a vote for Elec. I had lost interest in Tankers for a few years up until I made my Elec/DM Tanker specifically for iTrials. Mind you, I put a lot of work into her build using IOs, but the finished product has been awesome. I pretty much play her all the time now. She's especially great for tanking Maelstrom, Anti Matter and the War Walker AVs.

There is an error message. It shows up in the "Looking For Group" channel that I believe defaults to your Global tab. This channel shows error messages pertaining to leagues and will give you the name of the player that is preventing the league from entering the queue. I would double check that this channel is added to your chat tab.

I'm pretty sure I've seen the error message within the last week or so, but not 100%.
  7. Have you considered starting your own teams? If there is something specific you really want to do, like redside teaming or arcs that support your character's background, the best way to get the ball rolling is to form your own teams. Most people will put the characters they're leveling at vigilante or rogue status so that they can switch sides depending on where the teams are. So do not be discouraged if you don't see a lot of people on redside to start. They can always cross over. If you have access to most global channels, combined with the Search feature you should have all the tools you need.

As a side note, I see redside teams/SFs fairly often. Maybe not as often as blueside ones, but they are out there.
  8. I'm fairly sure terminal D in the Main TPN building is in the wrong spot. It should be directly across from terminal C located on the same wall as the entrance to that room.
  9. I would definitely check out the global channels that were listed earlier.

In terms of PuGs, I've actually been running a PuG Maria Jenkins team all afternoon. So there are teams running on Champion, however we tend to network heavily through chat channels.

I would also recommend using the Search function. If you type /search or click on Team and then Find Member, you can look for people in your level range. People will appear colour coded depending on whether or not they're teamed, etc. For more info, click here.

I play almost exclusively on Champion, so if you're still lost, send me a tell @Amygdala and I'll try my best to help you out.
  10. I have the badges so I won't be signing up. However, if you end up needing bodies, you know where to find me.
  11. I think other posters so far have done a good job at answering your questions. So for now I'll just say welcome to the game!

It's significantly faster than clearing the outside then clearing the turrets, and it means anyone who needs the ixp will be getting the most out of it, not to mention extra threads and influence. Is it faster than skipping the perimeter and turrets? no. But it gets people more xp which in turn means they will be getting their level shifts faster, which means there will be more toons out there that will be properly level shifted to run the newer trials which give better rewards.
We're pretty much still running them this way.

I honestly don't mind going through the motions. I still get people who are brand new to trials and I think it's useful for them to learn how the trial works overall.

Not sure if you've tried this, but if you right click on your chat window and go to Channel Search > My Channels and select the desired channel, there is a Set MOTD button. If you enter your MotD in there you can fit a lot more characters than if you just click on the channel and to go Set MotD.

As for the issue at hand, although I may play on another server I often run into similar issues as described by Ukaserex. For trials like BAF, Lambda and Keyes, it matters a lot less if you have a lot of straight 50s. Sure, some phases may be more difficult, but more often than not the trial will be successful overall. In contrast, UGT and MoM are very unforgiving towards leagues with several 50s, so much so that the risk of complete failure goes up dramatically. This is largely due to the level shifts that the AVs have in addition to their innate difficulty level.

It is for this reason that I have asked for people to bring characters with at least 1 level shift to UGT and MoM. Instead of being selective in other ways, like asking for X amount of buffs/debuffs, I find bumping the overall level range of the league allows me to invite virtually any AT and have a good chance at success. I think asking for +1s and up is more than reasonable for the higher level trials.

A friend and I ran some tests a while ago to determine the timing of the respawns. This is the part of my guide that talks about it:

    Quote:
    Some Observations on Timing: Obelisks

Here is the general timing of events based on my observations:

    - If you start to clear Rularuu, but don't clear them all, you will get a respawn
    - If you start clearing Rularuu, and clear them all, the obelisk's shield will drop
    - The obelisk's shield will come back up as a respawn of Rularuu occurs if the obelisk has not been defeated

Here are some measurements I was able to make based on these events:

    - Time from assault to respawn (if the Rularuu are not completely cleared) = 1:30
    - Time from when the shield drops to when it is restored (occurs with respawn of Rularuu) = 30s

Based on these observations, you have 30s to defeat your obelisk once the shield has dropped. Additionally, once an obelisk is defeated, the other 2 must be defeated within 30s.
In order to complete the CoP you need decent DPS for the AV itself and the ability to clear spawns of Rularuu very quickly in order to drop the shield on the AV once it goes back up. When the shield is up he regens very quickly, so a lot of your progress can be undone if you're unable to drop the shield in time. The spawns do not scale to the number of people running the trial, so you're looking at full spawns. To give you an idea of what you're up against, before Incarnates came out, full leagues of 50s used to have issues clearing these spawns quickly enough to beat the trial. However, it has been completed with as few as 9 people before.
  17. 1) I like the fact that they are more challenging than many other parts of the game.

    2) I enjoy meeting new people. I have added quite a few people I met on trials to my global friends list.

    3) Since trials came out, I've dusted off quite a few 50s and found new uses for them.

    4) I've been inspired to make new characters after seeing that certain combinations could be especially useful for trials. My most recent example of this is the Electric Armor/Dark Melee Tanker I made. I would have never considered it before iTrials but I love playing it.

    5) Seeing even a PuG league come together and do a flawless run, e.g., getting MoTPN in one shot.
  18. This happened fairly recently to me as well. It was on a Dr Kahn. As for other TFs, we ran an STF the other day and a team mate crossed over without issue. So it may be isolated to the one TF, but I wouldn't chance it just in case.

Here in lies my dilema. Even though I have been playing off and on since they came out with the game, I just recently started using the LFG System and unlike another MMO that offers you a little icon to teleport into the instance or in this case the Trial, I can't seem to find my way back into the next Trial. What do I need to do? Is there an icon that I am missing? Is there a tab that says "Click to teleport to instance"? I feel like a total ****** having to quit a smooth running team only to hop right back into the LFG Queue.

TLDR Version: How do I requeue once a LFG Trial is completed (So I join with the group I just ran with.)?

    Best regards,
    Gangland
    I think I understand why you're confused.

If you've just completed a trial, you're already a part of a league, in which case if the league is going to do another trial directly afterward, the leader goes into the LFG and queues up the trial. You don't have to do anything until a window pops up with the Enter button. If there are available spots on your league and it's an open league, there will be a 90 second wait time until the pop up window appears. After everyone has clicked Enter (or time runs out) everyone is automatically teleported into the next instance. My guess is when the leader asked if you were coming, they probably meant coming to the zone. If you try to queue a trial with people out of zone it'll give you an error message saying that all players must be in zone to start.

I can't say for sure if that's what they meant but that's my best guess.
