You can also type /chanjoin Champion Redside and or /chanjoin Champions United a lot of redsiders hang there and there are active VG's there as well. Send an in-game tell to @SCyberTaz with your global and we'll point you to the right direction either in channel or tells.

I'm not really expecting to have a full team running every time i play. I actually spent about 2 years running solo and I was fairly happy with that. Wasnt really sure if I was any "good" at this game and didnt want to slow a team down.
Than came lvl 50 and I wanted incarnate powers so I was essentially forced to start being on teams. Which was fine cause there are so many people in a league I would just follow the herd and learn where to go and what to do in each trial. Now on my main, Fiery Phoenix, I have no problem running off on my own during a lam and taking out a weapons cache/container by myself since I'm fully capable. Figure if I can do it, why not. Speeds things up.
So now that my characters that were close to 50 are all at 50 I have a bunch that are anywhere between 1 and 35 that I want to level and doing so by myself has become dull. Doesnt matter whether its a team where there is no talk and all fight or one full of conversations. Just wanna level at a faster rate and have a little variety.
Tho I suppose if I have to I could always have future characters backstory who are "evil" believe in what they are doing is "good" and make them blue side if its really going to be a pain to team. Not into RP but concept is important to me. I tend to like playing characters more if I have an idea what they are about. But than I run into the problem of I dont think I can stand playing solo blue side. The different zones and contacts are incredibly dull to me. 
Red side just comes off as more interesting and lively. Granted less populated.
Btw I've soloed a hero to 50 and another to 42. So it's not like I havent given it a chance.
I also appreciate the responses. Lots of familiar names from trials and the various channels I'm part of. Champion really is the community server. Glad I ended up picking this one as my home when I joined.
Have you considered starting your own teams? If there is something specific you really want to do, like redside teaming or arcs that support your character's background, the best way to get the ball rolling is to form your own teams. Most people will put the characters they're leveling at vigilante or rogue status so that they can switch sides depending on where the teams are. So do not be discouraged if you don't see a lot of people on redside to start. They can always cross over. If you have access to most global channels, combined with the Search feature you should have all the tools you need.
As a side note, I see redside teams/SFs fairly often. Maybe not as often as blueside ones, but they are out there.

Are there any active Red side Supergroups recruiting on Champion? (I know, lolredside) Unlike the majority of the player base I Like red side more than blue and 90% of my characters are Villains.
