Could 3 T3d 50s (en-en blaster, humanform WS, ill/kin troller) trio the CoP?

Assuming CoP stands for Cathedral of Pain, I'd have to say I doubt it. Perhaps with judicious temp usage or tricks I don't know of, but as far as I know handling the obelisks (survive AND damage in sync) is going to be tough on the blaster and the WS.

Even with the right ATs it can be a crapshoot if one of the floating slim guys boss phases you at the wrong time.

Are the Mindforge spawns endless, then?

As far as I know yes... But come to think of it I don't recall much about this trial. You're supposed to defeat the obelisks at the same time, then enter some inner chamber and defeat other stuff at the same time to be able to hit Ruladak at all, I think? Could be remembering poorly.

Either way, it's so easy to set up and dropping you right in the action you don't have much to lose trying it out for yourself.

They will keep respawning periodically until you manage to take down the obelisks, yes. And the obelisks have quite a high regeneration rate. And even if you manage to take them all down together, you still have to worry about the final boss, who also goes invulnerable rather often, with even more spawns to fight at the same time.

So, I kind of doubt it, but it would be something interesting to try.

A friend and I ran some tests a while ago to determine the timing of the respawns. This is the part of my guide that talks about it:

Quote:
Some Observations on Timing: Obelisks

Here is the general timing of events based on my observations:

- If you start to clear Rularuu, but don't clear them all, you will get a respawn
- If you start clearing Rularuu, and clear them all, the obelisk's shield will drop
- The obelisk's shield will come back up as a respawn of Rularuu occurs if the obelisk has not been defeated

Here are some measurements I was able to make based on these events:

- Time from assault to respawn (if the Rularuu are not completely cleared) = 1:30
- Time from when the shield drops to when it is restored (occurs with respawn of Rularuu) = 30s

Based on these observations, you have 30s to defeat your obelisk once the shield has dropped. Additionally, once an obelisk is defeated, the other 2 must be defeated within 30s.
In order to complete the CoP you need decent DPS for the AV itself and the ability to clear spawns of Rularuu very quickly in order to drop the shield on the AV once it goes back up. When the shield is up he regens very quickly, so a lot of your progress can be undone if you're unable to drop the shield in time. The spawns do not scale to the number of people running the trial, so you're looking at full spawns. To give you an idea of what you're up against, before Incarnates came out, full leagues of 50s used to have issues clearing these spawns quickly enough to beat the trial. However, it has been completed with as few as 9 people before.

I think this would be a tall order even w/ the squishier form of Rularuu.

It's normally run by 3 full teams. The one I was on on Sunday, Rularuu was nearly at full health again after we brought down the 2nd respawn of the cubes. You need some serious regen debuffing to keep him from going back to full health.

I'm not going to say it's impossible, but you'd need very high AoE damage from each team member to clear spawns quickly, and very good regen debuffing on the AV. And it's timed. I'd be VERY impressed if only 3 people could pull it off.

I'd be up for trying it

I dunno if there's a minimum participant level - but technically they could stand around not doing much if there is
