Non-VIPs on itrials....

Forgive the question, but what's a good way to be able to tell who is not VIP when forming a league? This has consistently been a problem for me the last few times I have formed trials: everyone will be level 50, but someone somewhere is not vIP and for that reason, I cannot qeue.

I dont get an error message of any kind, and frankly its kind of putting me off forming trials. I almost wonder if people are not sneakily griefing the league by doing this.... I kind of wonder if that last holdout who makes the rest of the league wait five minutes before they hit the green button is griefing, too. Happens a little too consistently to always be an afk....

But I'd really like to know if there is a way I can sort out the non-VIPs.

Well, it is no longer 5 minutes for the queue. It is now 90 seconds.

As to the non-VIP, a few patches ago the game did give an error message, but that seems to have disappeared.

The best you can do at this point is to click on every player in the league, if they show as +1, that person is a VIP. I know that it isn't a solution, but at least it narrows who it could possibly be.

If you're forming a pug where you don't know who is joining and how much they know it's best to broadcast it as something like: "Lambda forming, need 3 to start, lvl 50 and VIP only." This usually prevents the issue completely by making it clear that you need to be lvl 50 and VIP before they join.

Typically people just don't know, especially those who have just returned to the game and are looking to get into stuff right away. It's nothing sneaky or underhanded in an attempt to make your form up take 30 seconds longer.

There is an error message. It shows up in the "Looking For Group" channel that I believe defaults to your Global tab. This channel shows error messages pertaining to leagues and will give you the name of the player that is preventing the league from entering the queue. I would double check that this channel is added to your chat tab.

I'm pretty sure I've seen the error message within the last week or so, but not 100%.

Yes, the error message still appears, it just isn't by default in a tab you are likely to have up. Simply kick the offending person and you are good to go.

In addition the game mechanics won't allow the league leader to actually put the league into Queue if a player is non -Vip or under level 50.. there eroor message appears and then its simply a matter of asking in league chat. Not sure what server your on but I'm on Virtue and I think we've only had a handful of non VIPs on trials .. now players with no clue they can't be mentored ? .. We had a 6 level join a league one night. LOL

As for the player (s) taking forever, if ever, to click .. It all depends on how long it took te league to form. Players get bored and start taking unannounced Bio breaks, running to the kitchen for food/drink, etc. If your forming a league in the early afternoon DURING the week and trying desperately to fill all 24 slots for a BAF or whatever.. it can take longer to recruit than to run the trial. People are going to get bored and wander on you.
