Yes, as a matter of fact it was! I've used that option on most of my male characters to make the neck the same color as the top part of the uniform. That would explain it
-
I don't know if this is related or not, but all the costume slots I've unlocked since Issue 21 (or previously unlocked slots where I just wanted to change the costume) have Male face #1 and the "Fury" hair when opened in the costume creator screen regardless of what face or hair was originally used for the character the slot was unlocked on.

Quote:This. In my opinion it is good to take your character back down to the lower levels. With careful timing of when you take powers and managing your important set bonuses you can create characters that are quite powerful at any level. I find it a challenge to build a character that can level down and not feel gimped...

I experienced the same issue last night while playing. When training up to level 4 I took Fly, but when I exited the power selection screen there was no icon in the power tray and Fly was greyed out in the Powers list. Fly did not actually become available to my character until I hit level 5 and trained up again.

<QR> I'm reserving judgement until I actually have a chance to try it out. I currently have Light Form on my PB, although I generally don't use it that often.
EDIT: Any time they start tinkering with Khelds it makes me nervous, regardless of whether the results are good or not. -
I think you did a great job and that this will be helpful to new players.

This is not directed at you specifically, but I boggle at the reasoning of the powers team in changing the animation of a footstomp power because it can't be used in the air - something which no one in 4 years on the forums has even mentioned - rather than changing the KB to KD... which people HAVE been asking for all this time. To me that makes even less sense - kind of like putting the cat in the freezer because the drain is stopped up.
-
This. In all the threads over all this time I can't recall ever seeing anyone complain about the animation for this power. Changing the KB to KD however is the one thing that has been requested again and again and again.

It was working fine before Issue 17, so it's really not EVGA's responsibility to do anything here since it was Paragon / NC Soft that broke the functionality. A lot of people use this utility to keep an eye on their GPU temps and see what kind of framerates they're getting. I hope our guys will consider fixing what they broke.

Quote:Thanks for posting this. This is exactly the issue that I've been having since Issue 17 first went live, but I've never seen anyone mention it before. I'm going to try this fix now....be aware that there are known problems with both the RivaTuner and EVGA Precision tool. If they are running and you try to open a contact window, a tailor window, an auction house window or many other items then these programs cause the game to freeze...
EDIT: I disabled the EVGA Precision Tool and "voila!" the game works perfectly now. No freezes, hiccups, or crashes. I wonder if NC Soft is planning to fix this? -
I've got two characters in the upper 40's that I'm concentrating on for the time being. Once I-19 hits I can figure out what I'm going to do with the lower ones. Not starting any new character til then probably.

I love the buff, but I can understand that some others might not. I believe an option similar to the one for Team Teleport would be best for all. -
Quote:I'd have to agree with this. I've taken both a PB and a WS to 50 (both tri-form) and I love them both for different reasons, but for me the lower levels were definitely easier on the PB due to my tendency at the time to solo a lot. At 50 I'd have to say that I'm finding the WS more fun to play on big teams with the diff cranked up and piles of critters to plough through. The PB now tends to be my tried-and-true TF/badge toon, still great when exemped down to any level. Here's a counterpoint - for a first Kheld, I'll tell people to consider the PB for the simple reason that all buffs, heals, etc. are completely self contained. You always know what you'll end up getting, your heal will always work for the same amount at the same level/slotting, your build up will work even if nobody's around, etc, etc.
Warshades are variable - but that variability is why it can get more powerful, etc, etc. -

::Blinks, looks around::
Whoa, for a minute there I thought I'd stepped into a thread from last year...
::Backs slowly out of thread:: -
This. At least that's been my experience. Both were fun to play, but my PB was defenitely more fun to solo. The WS on big teams playing hard and fast just gets really insane (in the best way). There's else nothing quite like it in the game.

All my Khelds are tri-form, but I've actually been considering using the dual builds to make a bi-form Kheld lately. I'm just imagining that a Human / Dwarf Shade or a Human / Nova PB would be pretty fun to play on teams.

Ever since they first announced Power Set Proliferation I've been hoping that I'd be able to make a Rad / Energy Melee Defender -

Once upon a Positron there was a bug. It's purple Mankey liked saving walruses deaths. Until a green shoe fell off a pretty cloud of root beer fluff cleaving off seven little toes while chewing Bubblegum. After seeing the drunk Pinnacle-ite puke chunky bits of magnets, it stumbled into a garbage carafe. Feeling pretty depressed,
