  2. On topic with things I'd like to see...

    I really want more hairstyles. Say, some scene girl hairstyles, 70's hairstyles (think Farrah and the Bee Gees), long hair for men (genuinely long, a la Glam for women), etc.

    Also, shoes. Not boots. Shoes.

    Water Blast!

    Well, I've been developing an idea for hemakinetics...

    So I hope I do, in fact, get red for my planned Water/Mental blaster.
  4. I don't know viability, but random ones I'd like to see someone try (and would be willing to put time into...):

    * SJ/SD brute squad (aka "Boot Party")
    * Ice/Stone tank squad ("Glacial Movement")
    * Thugs/Storm MM squad ("Videocard Blowout")
    * Kinetic/Dark stalkers (Any stalker set, really, if just to see eight dudes surround an AV, pop Build Up, then Assassin's Strike)
    * Forunata squad (for rolling eight deep in the Spider garb)
  5. As an aside... Find a Kinetic defender and make them your best friend. Speed Boost makes any movement with Granite viable... and if they slot it right, you can run just as fast as they can with Rooted on as well, if you so choose.
  6. Most recent... Watched my three teammates fall at the portal mission of Sutter's TF. There's like eighty something dudes hanging around in the portal... My MA/SR scrapper turns on blender mode and just starts wading through them all. I eventually have to pop Elude, manage to bring down all but a handful, and still ran away to Assemble the fallen out of harm's way before it drops. I was asking after, "Can I feel like a badass? I think I should be feeling like a badass. Because that was pretty badass."

    Admittedly, this is the character that somehow managed to do the same on the Envoy at AV level back in the day, and barely managed to solo an AV Tyrant.

    She is indeed.
  8. On Pinnacle, in descending age:

    * Little Miss Muffet (Been years, still surprised)
    * Agility (years, prior to purge)
    * Union Labor
    * Wheelgun
    * Cute Li'l Devil
    * Screamin' Eagle
    * Chronologist (After Time Manip release)
    * Intelligensia
    * Pack Animal (After Beast Mastery release)
    * Masse (After Staff Fighting release)
    * Codename
    * Compass Rose
    * Mujahideen
    * Punch Drunkard
    * Nundertaker

    And on Virtue, just one... Compound Fracture. As with Muffet, been years.

    I recall being surprised in getting all of these. While some may be old, that I got them is still a surprise.
  9. I am looking forward to this.

    Of course, I am secretly hoping for Empys. But I'll be happy with other freebies. Like Astrals.
  10. Yay! One little support report and my stuff got to me! \^o^/

    Just got it on Steam. still great fun!

    It really is one of the greatest things ever. Still, in my opinion, one of the best co-op games of all time. TJ&E makes me so happy.
  11. I was wondering when these were unlocking.

    Considering my account has had no more than 48 hours downtime since launch, I was waiting. This does not make me happy.

    I'm also waiting on my 8 Year Veteran badge, mind.
  12. Can I do a rewrite of the Interlok system (using Cybergeneration as a template)? I have a huge [REDACTED] for R. Talsorian.

    Nothing beats the feeling of having a pure Empath pop someone in the face for a kill.

    I've done plenty of EB/AV killstealing with my little Empath, thanks to Brawl. I cheer out loud when it happens. :3
  14. I used to think Hurricane was hot. Early, when my friends and I first fought against the Clockwork King, I held him in a corner and the KB proc'd so often he wasn't able to get up. Teammates pounded on him until endurance ran out, rested, then came back and pounded on him more.

    Now, people yell at me because of the KB. ._.

    Also, I have to agree with Granite Armor being tough. I can't play my beloved tank unless I'm with a Kin who can give me boosts.
  15. Most everything I've wanted has been covered (NPC proliferation!) or brought out already (Imperial Dynasty!)... So just two things.

    * More (always more) street clothing. The D pack was nice (even if those feet on the laced heels are a little frighteningly large compared to everything else), but I want more. Hoodies, some modern, decent-looking casual and dress shoes, detective-style cloth trenchcoats, shoulder holsters, polos, jewelry, etcetera.

    * Better masking on Female bodytypes. White is white on Male and Huge, it's somewhat translucent on Females. I'm making a hero in a white suit, dammit, not a college freshman at a white teeshirt party.

    Cheers!

    Agreed, but sometimes it's all we healbots can do to ensure everyone doesn't die.

    For the record, I only use it during iTrials at this point... Unless I'm with some of my cohorts who insist at running always at +4/x8, those suicidal bastards. Otherwise, my empath runs Hasten auto.

    Hell, if I take Hasten, it's usually auto. Practiced Brawler on my MA/SR. During intense battles with a damage character, I'll set Build Up/analogue or AT click power on auto.

    I did once run Brawl auto and tab+F'd through a mission while eating. It was quaint.
  17. After eight plus years...

    * Moved three times (twice across state lines)
    * Changed jobs six times
    * Started college (again) and earned my BA in Game Design
    * Upgraded/replaced my PC four times (working on the fifth)
    * Stayed with the same ISP, though it was bought out several times (Excite@Home, AT&T@Home, Comcast)
    * Left my longtime girlfriend just before Issue 2 (for unrelated reasons), and been single since
    * Became a PAX Enforcer, watched the show grow from 3k attendees total to sellout in less than 24 hours
    * Lost two grandparents
    * Bought a car (used)
    * Made a ton of really great friends
    * Played several different MMOs (WAR, TOR, WoW, GW, APB, Global Agenda, EVE), but always returned to CoX
    * Run a semi-successful RP coalition which has spawned published work and earned people other than myself money
    * Created hundreds of characters that never made it past level 4
    * Run only two characters to level 50
    * Never had my account lapse for more than 24 hours

    It's been a hell of a ride. Looking forward to the tenth anniversary.
  18. I got my popmenus to work! I am a happy number.

    Pretty sure this was a launch feature. I remember enabling it to see how it worked very early in my City career and being very disappointed at the time.

    ::EDIT:: <insert Dwight Schrute image> I am INCORRECT:

  19. This would likely only affect the altoholics such as myself, but here we go...

    Roll a new character. Make that costume nice and pretty. You like it? Good, you can have it at level 10.

    All new characters would have a certain set of costumes available. They would appear handmade or mass produced, like a starting hero or villain might actually have. No, you don't get to appear as a hulking mountain of death and metal from the start... You get to be a dude in football pads and a motorcycle helmet. Prove your worth, and THEN you get the backing for the shinies.

    Before you roll out, of course, you'll get a chance to adjust some things. Make sure your character stays yours... But, no, you have to undergo the rites of passage before you become awesome.

  21. So, yeah. ::looks at sig:: Roleplayer.

    My coalition's already started to spread over to Exalted, planting seedlings in the lovely, untarnished soil. My plan is to use Exalted as the test lab for concepts.
  22. Came down with a few decent ones.

    * West
    * Oni
    * Agility
    * Analyst
    * Morph
    * Heresiarch

    Not a huge selection or of epic quality, but good.
  23. As long as they don't push the END date back, I'm kosher.
