City of heroes. You have been in my life for quite a few years now. Since june of 2007 when I first started, as a total noob and my first MMO I fell in love with the game. I took my breaks here and there, yes. But everything in moderation. I remember when I first started during i9, with i10 releasing shortly after I joined.
I can remember every issue and what I did during them, if I did play, or I didn't play. Who I played with for the most part. My fondest memories were spending from 8 pm to 7 am in my friend's SG base. We had such a good time, everyone had their own room..My rooms were the bathrooms - LOL.
Over the course of my playing I met a single player many of you may know. Dr. Turgenev. And I didn't know the night we met doing arena's by a string of luck that I would grow such an amazing friendship with him. If it weren't for him I am not sure how many times I would of logged into CoX. Infact my whole play experience would of been totally changed. I want to thank him for being such an incredible friend in the process.
I've come so far from being an immature brat to now where I am now. I play many different MMO's too, and unlike other MMO's. No matter what happened I ALWAYS came back to CoX. No matter what. I loved this game like many others..It was always an option when some other new mmo got stale.
I want to keep this short. Thank you all, everyone who I've had the pleasure to play with in this game. Thank you freedom for the pve content fun and all the tf's and trials.
Thank you Virtue for all the roleplaying and fun I was able to have with you.
And thank you paragon studio's for creating one of the most unique and best games in the industry.
Good bye City of Heroes. I will see everyone one last time tomorrow. When we all finally, as they say. Take to the skies one last time. I will never forget you. -
Okay, if your ingame type this in chat [Disintegration] Look at the symbol, it's t4 omega. That could mean that the omega incarnate slot is a signature move off a big villain/incarnate. Not sure if it's old news or not..But it's intriguing.

It says my street justice character is locked because I don't own the set..But I bought it when it first came out and got it to 50 and it is 50 and has been played within the past few weeks..Is it a current bug or something?

Has anyone else had this problem? We made SURE every orb died, and she was mass regening. We couldn't get her past 95% or anywhere near 90%. She kept regening like it was LRSF and no one took any towers down..Like..Anyone else have this problem? Apparently it was fine last night. I go and do it today and its ****** up. GJ.

What are you doing on an AV besides dealing damage when Purple Triangles are up? If you skipped the ST Immobilize, you have to use the AoE Immobilize. Yeah. Have fun with endurance cost and really poor damage you HAVE to use everytime it's off cooldown.
There is NO logical reason to ever skip the ST Immobilizes on an >Controller<. Dominator sure. Controller inexcusable.
There is no power I can see from Aux Pools or the like that would outweigh the benefits of the ST Immobilize. Because being able to ST Immobilize > Hold > APP/PPP Blast > Repeat is how you're contributing against a big, bulky, impossible to hold target.
Unless you have an extremely busy secondary (Hint: None are that busy), you have NO reason not to be dealing as much damage as possible. You hit Fearsome Stare, you hit your AoE immobilize, you use HEart of Darkness if you really want? Then you blast the singles down and mix in your AoE immobilize/patron/power AoEs for flavour.
You are always dealing damage and you always should unless a priority sparks.
Do not skip the ST Immobilize for anything BUT the AoE Immobilize if you HAVE to drop THAT many powers. And you honestly shouldn't need to.
Between dropping Shadow Field ( You don't need it you have Fearsome Stare and Heart of Darkness), Soul Absorption for now, Fade for now, and Black Hole? You have plenty of room to weasel around.
It sounds more like you should be in the blaster forums tbh... -
I just knew that I would love this new X-man story ar- I mean City of heroes SSA.
Seriously I was having X-men 3 flashbacks, they clearly get there inspiration somewhere, but fell-through with copying it.
Or maybe they wanted to make it so bad that it didn't look like a copy, rather a random fail story-line. Instead it's a failed copy failed storyline. -
I have a bane, it owns. Banes seemed to have pulled ahead of crabs ever since incarnate trials started..Where your pets get munched and destroyed by enemies very easily. Banes have the pets still, but don't rely on them as much as a crab does I feel. My bane like..never dies due to beyond def soft cap, it does pretty nice dmg..I am thinking of turning my widow into a night widow and make a nice build for it.
I didn't make an aoe build because if you are doing incarnate trials, mobs are dead before you aoe them.
I am more-so single target, which people can always say stalker dmg is best single target and it is..But you get the pets too as a bane. I feel like in incarnate trials it is all about single target for the most part, the mobs of trash die so quickly. -

I would think even recluse would be sad although he wouldn't admit it. What really makes a hero is his villain and what really makes a villain is his hero. Neither of them are as important if one of them dies. -
I made this mm a hero..Now I want to go villside and get fricken power boost..I'm demons/time and it could be a tankermind with powerboost..But I could go fire for ancillary and get the rez...idk QQ

I just made a demon/time for the intent of hell on earth being able to be used frequently..I have the cd at 156 seconds..So when it's up again I should have 5-6 living hellfire spawns up..Then it'll go back up to 10 of them and back down until the cd is up again..lol..If I had burnout it would be 2 buffs at once..But meh.

I don't see the call to arms defence bonus aura to pets proc in there
This is always a debate in the MM forums but I don't see the need for taking all 3 attack powers
Chrono shift is over slotted with recharge io's as, i think, is farsight
Personally i'd slot to hit debuffs in times juncture
Why 2 slot ss, the only thing i ever put in there is +stealth. Pets always seem slow to me.
Finally, this is probably more of a play style thing, but I don't prioritise recharge this much on a mm, with demon/time, you can pretty much get your pets over softcap so you don't have to recast at inconvenient times during hair raising battles as much. I tend to view my minions as my team an i'm the troller on said team so i emphasise the slows,defence and tohit debuffs more. I get the recharge in farsight as you can almost perma double stack it but I think the recharge powers and slotting needed for this takes away from other areas.
Just to be clear I am no MM expert so if any of my points are off I apologize.
EDIT...I did just have the thought that the extra recharge is really good for hell on earth
I really wanted high rech and perma chrono shift for hell on earth..OH and yeah farsight does have too many rech's..Chrono doesn't. ..You can remove all rechs from farsight actually. With stealth I don't need stealth on ss...Call to arms where? Umm ss for travel really without pets..And the slow on times juncture..Well...Hmm I guess I could put -tohits in there. -
Okay I am about to leave for work and I want to start this build tonight when I get home, well the character rather. Here is the build. Oh and before I post it, I put tier 3 in musculature, but that could change to cardiac or spiritual, depending if I can find a way to fit a bit more recharge in it the way I want to. Oh and I definitely want interface with the fire dot, because that means my 6 pets, me, and the Hell on Earth have a (in this build) 75% chance to cause a dot every time one attacks...Which is a LOT of damage, I am not sure if they stack or whatever the case but at the moment I definitely want that.
OH AND I didn't mean to add warp...Time warp is a spell on wow and I am used to saying that and when I typed it didn't even think about it >_>

Constructive post is constructive? Yes mine's about farming, what the Dev's loathe, but really. I like to sit in a big cave farm, and afk as I lvl. So I can do other things, now I wait around for 2 hours trying to get a farmer and fail. AND before you go "goplaythegameinsteadofwaiting" So I get a lvl that I can prob get in a short farm in 8 minutes? -
<-- Extremely PO'd player. Where have they all gone? And before you all go "LOLGOPLAYTHEGAMENOOB" I pay my money for VIP, I choose HOW I want to play. My question is why is there a lack of farming? Maybe it's because there is now 501234123314 AP's? Why was that done again? Really?

So I am trying to claim Xp boosters and keep getting this stupid error, Character or Account item claim failed, no room in inventory.
What is an inventory for fricken temp powers? I don't get it. I restarted, veryified, EVERYTHING. =( -
Did anyone else just get mapservered and cannot get back on? This r annoying =(.
Especially considering the last time I wanted to spend the whole day on before work they went into maintenance, they have perfect timing to screw me over. lol..I know it's not just about me, but really >.> -
I was on freedom, cannot get back on. Why does CoX know the perfect times to not let me play?

I'm finding the Hold doesn't trigger that often and the slow not to be all that effective.
Currently I have it just slotted with a Lockdown Proc, hoping once I get a Hold Set in it with ACC, that MAY make it better, but so far *sad face* -
BR/Time, even with redraw really isn't that bad, I have an amazing build I am putting together now, sadly I couldn't make it as advanced as my bane/widow builds I had, where I got their end recov to like 3.84 each..This build IS slot hell, not as bad as a kheldian though.
Some powers can only really have common IO's, and others only 4/6 of a set. It's definitely ESPECIALLY hard to do it without mids.
But the build is not that bad. -
With my set bonuses, chrono shift and hasten I will have 213.75% rech, I could get more but it's not worth it. It will def be perma. So will farsight, and along with that amazingness I am BR as primary as a corr.
BR/Time corr is a VERY busy and interactive set, against 1 target, you provide A LOT of debuffs with good damage still.
Don't forget all the buffs aswell, and the very good possible aoe. Burnout, who wants to see 2 Overcharge's in a row?!
Or I forget to hit hasten and chrono shift is down too long, burnout..lol -
I am wondering if this build really has legs?
I have a bane spider and a fort, and both their builds are amazing. But my question is, does this build have survivability? I know it's mainly dmg and support, I just don't see where this build fit's in an incarnate trial. Mine is currently 35, I invested all my xp boosters into it except 1..like an idiot lol..
And I don't know how well this build actually preforms.
