Interesting...
I live in Florida, but I just happen to be heading to Cashiers, NC ON Dec 8th.
Not exactly sure how out of the way Durham will be, but if there is anyway possible way I can make it, I will do my best. Even if I can't make it, thanks for finally having a M&G that isn't ridiculously out of the way for me.

Hope you are able to make it, though. It'd be nice to talk in person with someone else who actually bought the (useless) strategy guides.

Then there were the UK player meets arranged by Kallandra. And it was the plan to get developers over for this years, although that fell through.
BUT, BUT... we did get the UK marketing guy up for the 1st player meet (shame that he was unable to make it for the 2nd one though).
It will be one helluva hike, and I'll need to do some finagiling at work to get the 6th off, and then not open the 7th.... but I just might be able to make it. Not looking forward to a 3-4 hour drive but hey, for CoH I'll make the trip if I can make it at all.

Stupid question but if CoX is going away why is there a meet and greet a week after it's killed off?

Getting to meet Black Pebble and talk to him in person rather than just chatting on a public forums.

As for why it's after the game closes, well, that was the date when most people could make it.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.
Black Pebble is my new hero.
Unsure if i'll be able to make it, i would like too and i'll see if i can but don't expect me to show.

The game will still be fresh in everyone's memories and there will be a lot that's still worth sharing and questions still on everyone's mind. It might be a tad painful since the wound will still be so fresh, but I think that getting to meet many other players (and Black Pebble) who shared the same passion will still be a vastly positive experience.

Although I should point out that there have been New York-area meet & greets in the past, and this will be the first one in North Carolina.
