Given what Positron was doing in i24 by including some Rogue and Vigilante content, I wonder if Khallisti Wharf would have built on that as well.

This is heartbreaking.

BP already answered, but I'm guessing that's a placeholder, since the plaque under it goes on and on about thanking Senor Omnomnom for his "Glorious Contributions"...

I can't believe they trying to replace a family Game like Coh with an Adult only game like Blade of Soul, With big Boobs Slutty Women.

I mean maybe Our Objective here Should be to Stop Blade of Souls form being release in America.

We are a Family and we Should fight against Un-family Things like Blade of Soul.

Never play another NcSoft game, If you feel pride for our game, then it as well, I Superratz am Proud of all of you Coh people, Love, Friendship will last for a lifetime.

It is very sad they couldn't see how much the game was evolving and transforming itself...

This is indeed a gorgeous Zone and threads like these show how much love and dedication Devs/Artists have for this game.

Thank you Leandro for giving us a glimpse of such gorgeous place!

Cheers!

Thanks for sharing this Leandro. I look forward to seeing the rest of the zone when you get it edited.

This actually made me LOL.

Damn. That looks beautiful.

I really hate that we'll never see it live.

Hadda chime in. Thanks, Leandro, for showin' us this. It is just a damn shame that the Dev's hard work (and it really showed!) is now so much trash (at the moment... I still hold out hope that, maybe, one day...)

It was another stab in mah heart to see that. It's beautiful. And sad.

Sigh.

August 31, 2012. A Day that will Live in Infamy. Or Information. Possibly Influence. Well, Inf, anyway. Thank you, Paragon Studios, for what you did, and the enjoyment and camaraderie you brought.
This is houtex, aka Mike, signing off the forums. G'night all. - 10/26/2012
Well... perhaps I was premature about that whole 'signing off' thing... - 11-9-2012

Thanks for posting this stuff. Was great to see, but also very sad. Still, I'm glad I got to see this new zone in some form.

It wouldn't matter what the game was called, and even with a totally new IP, as long as there was a core of Paragon devs at the new studio, then it would be CoH2.
Starting with an MMO would be rough, if not impossible in this climate.

On the other hand, 38 Studio, or whatever it was called, had a good basic plan...

Create an IP, and only make games based on that IP, building up to an MMO.

...They mismanaged it, mishandled it, and just blew it all around, but it was a solid approach at the outset.

A superhero IP would readily lend itself to such an approach. It would provide a great platform for the enlisting of known talents (writers, artists), which would in turn generate buzz for the whole thing. Start off with some less ambitious genres, but keep the MMO percolating in the background until it can be fully and properly financed.

This would essentially be an indie approach, and I think it'd work.

Could you either give us the technical name of the zone or the demo file so we can view it for ourselves?
