Praise *A* dev (past or present) 1.0
I can't name just one dev.
They all rock, even the ones who were my arch enemies, like Arbiter Curry or Castle or Doctor Aeon or Black Scorpion or the Television or...(Wow, I had a lot of arch enemies...)

*Arc #95278-Gathering the Four Winds -3 step arc; challenging - 5 Ratings/3 Stars (still working out the kinks)
*Arc #177826-Lights, Camera, Scream! - 3 step arc, camp horror; try out in 1st person POV - 35 Ratings/4 Stars
This may be unpopular but.. Jack Emmert.
Without him, we would never have had CoH in the first place, we never would have gotten to know all the other great devs, we never would have gotten to feel like heroes.
Thanks Jack.

Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Arbiter Curry got upgraded to Frienemy status.

Actually, there's another tie for 'praise a dev' for me, although this is more 'praise a mod.'
Ex Libris and Lighthouse.
Of all the community rednames, those two knocked themselves out for me when I was making videos - and Ex got me the gig of presenting (TWICE!) at HeroCon 2008. Invitations to betas so I could film, telling everyone in the Paragon offices as soon as a vid of mine went online, they were incredibly supportive of me (and of the other videographers as well).
Another reason I mention them is because of their experience with me as a game videographer here in COH, they got me gigs for other games as well (PAYING ones, too!). Ex was the one who got me the contract videographer job at SparkPlay for Earth Eternal, and Lighthouse got me the ongoing contract videographer gig for Spacetime Studios (Pocket Legends, Start Legends, etc).

Thanks to Rick Dakan, the forgotten Lead Designer of CoH. He's the one responsible for a lot of the early lore.
And yes, also thanks to Jack Emmert, who managed to get CoH released and growing on his watch.

That's actually really damn cool Michelle! While you might not have been an "official" videographer for CoH, your involvement got you real gigs elsewhere.
Ex Libris was wonderful. She hosted our 5-year SG anniversary of the Wings Over Paragon. We all met in PD and she handed out titles to all who showed.

I'll have to echo Hyperstrike's comment regarding how all the developers have contributed to the game.
But Black Scorpion deserves a honourable mention though. Back when the Lambda and BAF Trials were in beta I happened to join him for a Lambda Trial, and whenever I or someone else got defeated he'd be there in a split second with a rez before our noses had even touched the ground.
