It's just occurred to me today, I may have called the obtuse laws of the universe into bringing about the demise of the game. Allow me to explain.

In April of 2004, which you may recognise as the month the game was released, I found myself a new job with my current employer. That means I've been here over 8 years now - for reasons I won't go into, I recently decided to get myself another job and have now done so. Today marks my last day in this office.

...it was two weeks after I handed in my resignation, to the day and almost exactly to the hour, that Paragon announced that CoH would be closing down.

So, sorry all! I hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive me...

Depends on whether I can guarantee the curse continuing. I hear Call of Duty and Madden NFL are popular.

Head back to your old job and ask them to take you back ;-). If they don't want to, tell them that you have a petition of nearly 15000 names backing you.

Well, seeing as I've now not only handed in my stuff but also taken some leaving gifts, going back isn't *really* an option (I wanna keep my new Batman t-shirts, dammit).

I will however submit myself for burning. Just expect me to be wearing said t-shirt when I fry.
