Your characters.... through other dimensions!
I have a couple names/reoccurring themes for said name that I try to keep true. Though I seldom try to make them look exactly like their CoH version. (Mainly because, well, its not possible xD)
Might stick up some pics when I have the time.
I make Pitho in a lot of games I've played.
Ragnarok Online (Wizard)
City of Heroes (Dark/dark defender, later dark/dark controller)
PSO (Force)
World of Warcraft (warlock)
Probably some other games I can't remember atm, usually some kind of caster/magicish character.
Also have a few other names I tend to reuse
Phaea:
Ragnarok online (thief-> rogue)
City of Heroes (dual blades scrapper)
World of Warcraft (rogue)
SW:TOR (Bounty hunter)
CrabSpiderPrincess-> Crab VEAT
DKPrincess-> WoW Gnome Death knight
And a bunch of others.

Somewhat out of date as my CoH and CO costumes have changed a bit recently. I'm sort of waiting for better DCUO costume pieces so I can get a similar appearance between the 3 to do an updated shot.
Freedom
Blueside: Knight'Hawk, lvl 50, Scrapper
Yellowside: Dark'Falcon (Loyalist), lvl 20, Blaster
That Stinging Sensation #482183
Im going to Try and Make Vigos somewhere else..... It took about an hour or more to find on CoH what AT i wanted to make him The original Character is on www.myspace.com/Great_Black_Leviathan999 and where i based him from on CoH
Lemme know if somone cand find something simuilar to him and ill go to that game then > to keep the Legacy alive of The Great Black Leviathan
i use my main characters name for anything i play
i consider it my established internet identity, i could never recreate his costume or powers though, they are too unique to coh
I'd show the artwork of Therra in Aion... but Photobucket is undergoing site maintenance. Blah.
She's also showed up in The Old Republic - gunslinger.
Starship captain in STO.
LOTRO - what do they call it, ranger? Not particularly similar, honestly.
APB - don't recall. But everyone shoots everyone there.
Was planning, at some point, to get a piece commissioned with the various versions. Still might, for those I have pics of.
My first toon at CoH and still one of my mains, Anbaric Amber, is a time-traveling, interdimensionally transcendent, elec/fire blaster who may or may not actually be human exists in multiple points in time, space, and dimension. She's the same character, with the same memories and histories and experiences regardless of where/when she is.
This leads to some fascinating and confusing RP sometimes but I really enjoy it.
Anbaric Amber exists in Rift, SW:TOR, CO, DCUO, CoH, and now in The Secret World. She's also been a Transformer and an elite race car driver and street racer.
So moving on with her RP in other games is easy and she's the only character I'm not worried about. My other character are not so fortunate and I dunno what to do with them.
A'KO SMASH!!!
How about existing in this one? (At least in 1/3-scale, inanimate form... )
This is my 70cm ABJD (Asian ball-jointed doll) version of Palrah, my favorite tank. He happens to be sitting on the corner of my desk at the moment.
If I ever join up with another tabletop RPG crew that's interested in trying out BASH or Silver Age Sentinals or the old Champions system, I may yet have a pen-and-paper version of him, too. Like I said in the "favorite character" thread... I really do adore the guy. 'Always have.
@Brightfires - @Talisander
That chick what plays the bird-things...
Though she's not my main in CoH, Larieve has been a constant character. My fun-loving red-haired gun-toting troublemaker. Her CoH incarnation is and will always be my favorite. From top to bottom: WoW, Phantasy Star Online 2 ("male" because I hated the female outfits) and The Secret World
My main, Hyakki is one of a kind though. I've remade her on both PSO and TSW but she just isn't the same.
The smooth and shiny graphics of newer games can eat it, I still like CoH's look over all others.
(Since we have been given leave to speak of other games)
Have you taken a character concept with you to some other game? Tried to make your character there resemble your City original?
Heraclea has had an extensive career in other games. She predates the game by several years; I had originally created her in connection with an old DOS game called Forgotten Realms Unlimited Adventures. She is a flexible concept; her original intent was to be a female counterpart to the male muscleman heroes of low budget Italian sword and sandal movies, something I obsess about more than is healthy. Her longest running other dimensional self lives in Age of Conan.
Heraclea in Age of Conan, now on Set server
where she is a level 80 Conqueror. Heraclea exists in the following other universes:
World of Warcraft (85 warrior, ret'd)
Champions Online (got to maybe level 21, ret'd)
Star Wars: The Old Republic (Jedi knight, level 25? mostly ret'd, abandoned class as unplayable)
Guild Wars (ret'd)
DC Universe Online (now Herakleia, mostly ret'd)
The only MMO I've ever tried where I did not make a Heraclea was Lord of the Rings Online; I didn't figure the concept or name was a good fit to the setting.
Other characters I have made with careers in other games include Grignr, John the Conqueroo, and Omphale.
Where else have your heroes adventured?
