No, I didn't miss the point, I just thought Thorntrops was in Plant Control not Thorny Watzits.

Point still stands, with SoAs.

Not to mention, you can take Fly, Teleport, and Mystic Flight.

Although personally, I would love it if scrapper ninjitsu replaced Caltrops with Envenomed Blades.

Neither of those cases are the same power though. Very similar powers, yes but not the same. A better example would be Kheldians and Flight/Teleport which if you recall was locked out for a long time and is only getting allowed in I24.

That's not a bad idea. There's precedent for it in Fire Armor.

Actually if I've been reading the notes right, they're -still- locked out of the -specific- powers from the pools but can take other powers in them.

I'm watching now, but... I don't have another half hour. Do they ever say when either the new enhancement sets will be in-game, or the Super Pack 2? Is it just i24, or beforehand?

The new ATO sets will be released whenever Super Pack 2 (Rogues and Vigilantes) hits the market. They'll be exclusive to the packs for a little while then they'll be available via the merit vendors (reward & astral) as Round 1 ATOs were.

The 4 new enhancements that are just normal enhancements will be available when I24 hits through every conceivable way you can normally receive a recipe (drop, reward merit, alignment merit, etc)

Here is my reworking of Ninjitsu for Scrappers, Brutes and Tankers:

1) Ninja Stealth [toggle] (+Stealth, +def (all), immob protection)
2) Ninja Reflexes
3) Danger Sense
4) Kuji-In Rin (move immob protection, add mag 5 KB protection)
5) Burst of Speed
6) Reaction Time
7) Envenomed Blades
8) Blinding Powder
9) Kuji-In Retsu


I really should do something about this signature.

Interesting. I was expecting that the smoke/flash bomb power would end up becoming an AoE DoT/debuff/taunt gas bomb of some sort. But I find the prospect of having Envenomed Blades and Burst of Speed in the set intriguing.
