Tom Baker to appear again on Doctor Who!
I certainly hope it happens, but I'm a little leery of an article that doesn't cite any sources or give any relevant quotes. It's all "probably..." and "rumor has it...".

Cool. If it true. I know I read somewhere he was doing one of the Big Finish audio plays.
That could be what the article is referring to.
"And for us this is the end of all stories, and we can mostly say they lived happily ever after. But for them it was the beginning of the real story. All there life in this world and all there adventures in Narnia had only be the cover and the title page: now at last they were beginning Chapter One of The Great Story which no one on earth has ever read: which goes on forever: in which every chapter is better than the one before" - C.S Lewis, The Last Battle.
I would be greatly amused if he did reappear, but NOT as The Doctor.
The fact is that he looks so much different now that it would be painful to see him put on his old Doctor outfit and try to act the same as before. Put him in in a different role, and have fun with the "Don't I know you?" jokes.
"I do so love taking a nice, well thought out character and putting them through hell. It's like tossing a Faberge Egg onto the stage during a Gallagher concert." - me

it'll depend on how they do it too.
Put him in a wig or dye his hair and he could probably pull it off...
There is an art, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss. --The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
No reason to do that really. Back during the 10th Doctors run he came across the Doctor in a mini episode special. They made a point to explain that when a "younger" version of the Doctor runs into a more up to date version of himself that the current timeline ages him until he returns to his own timestream.
So if Tom Came back as The Doctor he could do it without a need to look younger.
SQUEEE!
