Wizard Bundle

An actual robe and wizard hat for the finger wigglers of this game. It's shocking we haven't had this yet in the market! There is a magic origin, tons of magic power sets, and nary a wizard robe or bath robe to be found.

But what if Billy Mays is right and THERE'S MORE!?

We have color tintable spells and alternate animations, but what would one more be like? The Staff/Wand power customization. There are enough power sets that this would not be a waste of time to add.

(Yet another suggestion. I promise this is my last one. I'm not going to spam the entire board with these things.)

We have no finger wigglers.

Mostly because we have no fingers.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Black Pebble is my new hero.

Back when the Magic costume set was released the subject of Wizard Robes came up. According to the developer who worked on it a proper robe was impossible to do in a way that didn't look very very silly with a lot of animations. Hence why the Magic pack was more along the lines of a stage magician than a fantasy wizard.

Yes, Imagine how silly Eye of the Storm in Staff Fighting would look wearing a wizard robe..

About as silly as it does when used with Granite Armor, Bio Armor, or a maxed out Huge build with tons of Ascension Radiance pieces.

I hate pointing to a certain other super hero MMO that was created by the same company that developed this game before they sold it to NCSoft as an example, but they successfully created ankle length dress/robe costume pieces that don't look silly with any of their powers.

If the devs at that steaming pile of bat guano can do it why can't our devs? Our devs are smarter, more talented, better looking and sexier than the people at that other company, and it's common knowledge this game is much more successful finacially than they are.

Just sayin.

They could provide something similar to a wizard robe with a new
"wizardly jacket" combined with a butt-cape for male models.

The hat could be modeled after the current witch hat. Just need to provide a star/saturn pattern for all pieces.

Wouldnt hurt to provide a new "long beard" that isnt quite as bushy as the current beard.

Because that pile of guano isn't trying to kludge new tech onto 8 year old models - the robes were included in the design from the early stages, and didn't have to be retrofitted.

For us, there are only two ways to do robes:
-Replace the legs with robes, like Tsoo Sorcerers. This can cause odd deforming with extreme leg movement. Also, the underside is, IIRC, a flat black plane which looks kinda dumb.
-A skirt/kilt or belt. This works better, but still not great. Go to the costume creator and create a female with a pencil skirt, select Dual Blades, Dual Pistols, Martial Arts, or anything else with really active animations. Then, try to tell me that skirt is made of anything other than spandex. Spandex that is superglued to her knees.

The latter method could probably be adapted to long robes, but they'd have to be built right, or honestly, they'd look stupid. I'm hoping that there are some development hours being put into tweaking whatever needs it to make robes/long skirts happen, but I really don't think they should add them using the assets that are currently available.
