What's Happening to Us? o.o
I blame the rubber duckies
as Ood Sigma said....We will sing to you, Doctor. The universe will sing you to your sleep. This song is ending. But the story never ends.
When has that been somethin' new?

for future reference, you probably want to redact the names before you post screenshots of chat text. What they said is the point, not who they are.
Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.
Well, the actions of one random blind inviter aren't much of a representation of the community itself. I wouldn't read anything into this. I simply take this anecdote as further confirmation my auto-declines of blind invites is the justified course of action.
Q. Just wondering Posi, where are the new dance emotes we were told would come with GR?
A. Positron: Whoops, my bad.

Eep. Sorry, not used to posting screenies. I'll have to redact and re-upload. Thanks for the heads-up, WHF. ^^;
Spatch, I normally do too... and now, I'll have to be more diligent to doing so, no matter what. XD
OK, re-uploaded in redacted form. (Refresh, of course, may be necessary to see this as a fact.)

This is why people put 'No blind invites accepted' or somethin' to that extent in their /search comment. This isn't new behavior. This isn't somethin' that reflects the server as a whole. I'd suggest puttin' it behind you and move along.

Of course the OP is silly since anyone can blind invite and anyone can play the game now. The incident is no more a reflection on the server or the game than a random /b/ image macro. There are always selfish idiots everywhere, but it's the helpful people who matter. Champion still has excellent, helpful players regardless of whether the occasional numpty makes an appearance. Heck, it even has people who keep articulated lorries, which is badass.

Says the one who apparently has a lorry.

You know that kid was like 12 right?
One person's actions shouldn't dictate what an entire group is about, that's just like saying an sg mate's actions would give the entire sg a bad rep. That is just silly.
Just forget, ignore, or simply nothing at all. Just keep in mind that kids do play this game and can be very impatient and lack core social skills most of the time (like Keeper for example).

I took an extended break and thus the carrying out of my duties of calumny, cruelty and general villainy fell to unfortunately less...capable parties.

Picture it: lazy Saturday afternoon, sitting around PI and chatting on globals.
I get a blind invite. We all get them these days, and I figured, hey, I need XP. As long as it isn't a DFB run, why not join? I'm a controller, and I'm lazy about soloing controllers.
Then this happens...
...Then, when I quit and mention in Help the rudeness of his actions, he proceeds to rail against me and /ignore me.
What's happening to us, Champion? This isn't the server-family I know. o.o
