In-game movie posters changing?

So I was passing through Kings Row on one of my lowbie characters yesterday and found myself in front of the movie theater near the police station. I noticed that the posters were not the same ones I remembered from the last time I'd stopped and looked a few months ago. ("Death From Bologna" )

Am I just misremembering, or do those posters actually change from time to time?

It's even better when you've got your graphics cranked all the way up and you can actually read the text at the BOTTOM of the posters.

no, you're not misremembering, they did change the posters, the promotion for the even coming soon™ were the 2 that were on the ground

I had strolled past the theater in King's Row before logging out the night before, so I saw them a few hours after they appeared. My roommate and I were checking them out a week ago and we've been wondering how long it would take for a thread to pop up.

I was able to make out that the Hero 1 poster said, "One Man. One Chance. One Way.", but I don't think that's what you're talking about. Unfortunately, moving my graphics slider any higher than "Performance" renders the game mostly unplayable on my machine

Yeah, you need a pretty good rig to really crank it all up.

For example, one of the original posters (like "They Came From Zone 7" or something), has half the original dev team's names on it.

The new poster DEATH FROM BOLOGNA has a cast/crew roster with all pig-related names.

And the new poster for ASCENSION... apparently lists me as the director. (No, it's not my poster.)

Well, I still can't read the fine print, but those are a lot sharper than what I see in-game

Interesting thing about the DFB poster is that I spotted a character hanging around Ms. Liberty 3-4 weeks ago named "Death From Balogna" (yeah, with "bologna" misspelled). I don't know if he got the idea from the poster, though - I don't think those poster were up yet, unless he saw them on beta or something.

But it gives me an idea for a "sequel" - "Dipped in Batter", or maybe "Drowning in Beer"

Yeah photobucket sizes them down for something like this. I'd hoped the direct links would be blown up, but weren't. They are readable in their native size and were ingame, but I'll admit some of the fonts used were a bit blurrish.

Wow. With all these epic movies being shown in Paragon City, it's kind of a bummer that all of the theaters there are so teeny-tiny!

Paragon City could really use a Giant Superplex Megatheater!
