Glowing is fine, but I'd much rather a feature that allowed us a list of tattoos to choose from and the ability to place them anywhere on the Avatar with a X-Y-Z control axis.
Give us the control to move them up, down, left, right, rotate them and make the larger or smaller. Like the company that originally created this game did in their space game where players boldly go into the final frontier.

Personally, I've wanted tattoos OF ANY KIND for our characters since as far back as I can remember. Men can sometimes get away with some costume patterns as tattoos, but only if these are used over a bare chest, and very few of the patterns look the part. And that's not possible to do for the legs. Women are in an even worse situation - since the only way for them to show skin is Tights With Skin, this makes patterning their bodies impossible, and they don't even get access to the Yakuza tattoos on their regular chests.
Glowing or not, I'd really like to see a system which allowed us to layer tattoos on our skin even WITH skin patterns already there. I don't know what it is about the concept, but I just love putting tattoos on my characters in other games that allow it, and I'd really like to do it here, I just can't.

Totally agree.
They might even be able to use the same tech for stuff like chest/cape emblem placement.

How about tattoos that only glow in combat? You know what I'm talking about.
(And definitely what Forbin said... that game that's basically GTA online has a system where you can place various art/symbols on top of items of clothing to dress yourself... sadly, when you see someone for the first time, they just appear as a Generic ********* until their clothes load)

I would be happy enough with a glow/non glow option for body tattoos.
And for females glow and corset would be same colour, since we can only pick one for with skin pieces.
APB had the best body art/tattoo system I've ever seen, something I wish I could have on all my characters in every game - it's easier than photoshop and allows you to do ANYTHING!
Sadly, of course, that's a bit hard to police.
As to the glowy tattoos, I'm all for it.

The Tsoo in DA look awesmazing! I know having the choice to have body art like that would make Auras useless, but how about having the choice to have body auras radiate through the tattoos? I envy those damn Sorcerers everytime I see them with those auras, I want them too!
