Solo Dark Astoria

What type of toon can solo all the Dark Astoria quest chains at 54x8?

If you have 3 level shifts, it would be easier to list the types of toons that can't.

My Warshade did this with all the level shifts at 54x8. I'm sure he could do it without them too, but it would be annoying without Clarion and Agility is helping me reach build goals.

i've just started my perma-dark/dark/soul dom in DA, he just had his apha unlocked, and seems to be fine. I'll agree, 99% of any fully incarnated 50 should be fine. Note to self, this is my first 50 on virtue( my others are on Freedom), diffinitely need to find where folks on virtue gather for incarnate trials, the incarnate rewards in DA seem to be super small.

Ok, what about soloing with out temps/lore or insps(aside from healing), so you're really relaying on your trees to do the work. Keep dying and coming back from the hosp till you grind it out doesn't count.

Well the idea was so you can't just buff stack and blow through the whole thing before it expires. Also to take care of unlucky RNG of multiple consecutive hits through def. I think at this point most toon are going to have pretty high def anyway from IOs.

Started it on +3 x5, got bored so ramped it up to +4 x8. A few hair raising moments in the last coupla missions but my dm/inv/blaze scrappy had a blast.

Soloed DA with my tri-form WS and kat/SR scrapper. It was eiaser with my tri-from WS becuase of AoE's I have but my scrapper was more fun for some strange reason. (I guess I like to cut people more than I think :P)

I did the entire arc at +4/x8 with my Katana/Invul Scrapper. I only turned it down once, and that was for the badge at the end of Solaris' Arc, because it *took too damn long*. She's +3, and with saturated Invincibility she's over the iCap to S/L, and over the normal softcap to everything but Psi.

The only time I used Lore was in that same mission, to deal with a dozen bosses popping Unstoppable. >.<

My Ill/Cold *can* do it, I proved it to myself, but it was so painfully slow that I turned it back down just to get done faster. My Plant/Dark Dom also *can* do it, but if I'm turned up that high she's trying to dance the tango on a razor blade, and even a fairly small mistake cuts me to ribbons. I tend to leave it down around 3/6 because it's less likely to instagib me if I'm not perfect on controls.

I'd imagine that just about any AT can manage it, maybe not every combination of powersets. Stuff like that has a *lot* more to do with player skill than with specific combinations of powersets.

The thing that makes it easy (aside from Incarnate shifts working, obviously) is that there's no way for the EB's to spawn as AV's. If AV's could be turned on it would be a hell of a challenge, especially the level shifted one who gains a higher level throughout the fight.

My Dark Melee/Energy Aura Brute has had zero problems with this. My personal favorite is herding up the Elite Bosses (Minotaurs and Cyclopses) during the outdoor mission that Sister Solaris gives....nothing like 16+ EBs all piled on top of you!!!

She's +3 with tier 4 alpha... power boosting 2 aoe holds (with store bought lockdown hold procs ^_^) every 60 seconds and perma PA makes for pretty good personal safety.
