Beast mastery and Paragon citizens.

Just idle musing as I play one of my MMs today. Now, this would be fully in place villainside, but I swear, Paragon City citizens are just vindictive sounding when they run up to thank you.

"He was going to steal my purse, and I just saw him mauled viciously by wolves and lions! Thank you!"

No, I *don't* know why I notice it more with this than with robots, ninjas or demons.

At least robots and demons are slightly less likely to eat their quarry.

Only if you build your robots wrong!

It probably has something to do with all the diving, snarling, clawing and biting.

It makes it look like you just orchestrated a scene out of a nature documentary, and the enemies were the prey.

My Stories

Look at that. A full-grown woman pulling off pigtails. Her crazy is off the charts.

Great. Now people are going to make that as a character concept: The beasts are just wild and doing what wild animals would do if they found themselves in a city while the "Mastermind" stands idly and films it.

to TO THE END!
Villains are those who dedicate their lives to causing mayhem. Villians are people from the planet Villia!

I don't know... Having six heavily-armed mercenaries unload enough ammunition into a purse-snatcher to reduce him to hamburger meat doesn't strike me as any less vicious than seeing wolves and lions maul said purse snatcher.

Besides, it is far more environmentally friendly to have Mother Nature's children do it.

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."

As we know, bullets are not biodegradable.

Agreed. Not to mention swords and fire... Hehe... I don't know, I haven't found animal henchmen to be worse in this regard (I'm not sure if I find them to be better, but definitely not worse).

Personal opinions, of course.

I'm disappointed, I thought this thread was going to be suggesting dogs on leashes and/or walking with civilians, hehe.

I'm reminded of Chip, who could "burn" what he ate to supplement his battery.
