I find the general lack of feathered options to be mildly irritating.

I third this. While making a toon that was a Native American, I wanted to include a bunch of feathered costumes, but since they didn't exist I had to go with bones. It kind of ruins the exotic feel and instead gives it kind of an off-putting look.

you know, i got nothing that does that set up justice.
feathers would be nice, id still like arm and foot fins that arent attached to a boot/glove as well.
Definitely needed - and the shape from the phoenix tail works nicely as a template.

i keep asking for these options, tail [long like phoenix and shorter and fan like], shoulders, glove and boots with feathered details, and a tight but feather-like body option similar to scales and plant[as in with 3-d detail options].
but these requests need to be all over the forums, here, in the suggestions and ideas, in the costume requests, in the threeads David Nakayama will see like All Things Art and such, and on the facebook freedom friday posts. the more we ask for it in the more places, the sooner it will happen 
like skirts and shorts with monstrous feets.

I would like more feather options
you do have:
leaf hair - looks reasonably like feathers if you want a normal head
bird head
organic shoulders - look reasonably like feathers
bird wings
valkyrie kilt - looks like stylized feathers
scales pattern - gives a feather look to an outfit

Would have much preferred some feather options and a hair option that had long hair and a headband.
