Sup Virtue. What players do you miss the most?
I miss her too.
I also miss Nucess and Canadian, I remember doing hami raids with them back in the day. |
Good to see the game's community is still active. Nice to see familiar faces.
There, if we can hit that bullseye the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate! -Zapp Branigan

I still log in a couple times a month. Haven't really run incarnate Jack to his logical end and end up playing concepts a lot. Though I am sorta working on a MM Doc Wolfe to offset that moron Crom (heya Ascendant), he is a science hero type with lots o gadgets and robots.
Jack Wolfe Prototype Super Tank, over 25 million in damage taken in the service of others
My 360 hates me and writes about it

Amen to that. Good times were had. Repulse Shock(Kurt) and Penumbra Edge (Kael) are currently in college and still running around on rare occasions. They are both fixing up the base after an accident that Shock seems to not have any clue about. Radey, Berry, Cruse, Jade, Jag, Nod, Fist...the list goes on but you get the idea.

Jade's off at college, and she doesn't have the time anymore.
We'll always have Paragon.
Love them or hate them I miss the Sitting Ducks. They brought alot of character to the forums and PvP Zones.
Paragonian Knights
Justice Company
It's been less than 24 hours, and I already miss Galactic Gary.

Teen Squadron ftw
Arc's a Deviant!
@Brass Devil, he was one of the first friends I made when I started playing forever ago. Plus, Sungazer was hilarious. He's off livin' life or something now.
And Dr. Forkenshpoon, he'd also have me laughing whenever I was on Ghostie.
I miss the days when you would go through a zone and you may not know every player you see but you certainly knew 75% of the SG names.

... at some point I realized that I hadn't seen a familiar name from doing that in months, but it's still hard to get rid of the instinct.
Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.
I will admit that, when I walk through a zone and see people with good costumes or bios, I almost always check their globals. Because there was a time when, if they were the sort of person who made good costumes and bios on Virtue, I was probably already at least passingly familiar with them.

And I miss Kelenar and Polaron.
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.
He was awesome.
Dr. Forkenshpoon - Master of SCIENCE, potent sense of humor, and mentor to my main character. Nobody will ever be quite like him.
Jenny Device - Doc's girlfriend. She was gone before we knew it, but she was like a big sister to Belle in her younger days.
Officer Celara - Leader of the Paragon City Police Department, first supergroup I joined.
Grand Inquisitor - Leader of Belle's first supergroup, Phoenix.
The Weevil - Weevil Knievel!
Boscoe - Very fun whenever I interacted with him.
Tempura Schoolboi - He seemed like an intentional side character who was jealous of the Sushi Squad, so I always wanted him to win somehow.
The entire original CAPE RADIO Staff - DJ Tenchi, Forrest, Omega, D, Insomniac, Shinjuku. Nobody remembers them, but I got to hang out with them on Teamspeak and they were all very awesome. I would list DJ One Hit Wonder, but I've seen her fairly recently. XD
Captain Orbit - Only seen him ONE time, but in the short moments he was there - he crash landed near City Hall, tried to explain to my young, freaked out hero that he was trying to save John F. Kennedy, and almost got into a fight with a soviet warrior named Comrade Smersh, who told him that he was a bit late.
The entire Aurorae supergroup.
There are about a few dozen names I miss, but - those are the first ones who stand out.
Oh. I think I met two of Square Woot's Catbots (with Square Woot) in Galaxy City. Probably between the 1000 - 8000 series that would never be spoken of.
Go read her comic.
Fork always seemed really really angry, OOC. I hope he's okay wherever he is. I remember Jenny better than Celara--but I do remember the PPD SG. That was nice. As has been mentioned before, I think the Liberty League really defined what a CoH SG was for a lot of early folks in the game. And Weevil got that whole arc in the original comics, which was cool.
I certainly remember DJ Tenchi. We didn't get along, but at least his idea eventually become something great with the work of BigTop, Templar, and Angel.
