So after almost six years of playing...
Grats!
Positron: "There are no bugs [in City of Heroes], just varying degrees of features."
Thanks. It's felt like a real landmark. I guess scrapper was the only AT I've not gotten to 50 now (excluding a Widow and a PB) and I'd always struggled with melee toons until recently... my Brute was a real effort to get there .
But I'm liking this and making more so something's gone right

Too many 50's to list here's a few you may know.
Slazenger, Area51, Area53, Area54, Erruption, Mind Plague, Thresher, Sheath, Broadside, Debt
I finally got my first ever level 50 scrapper.
Titanothere is my TW/Inv scrapper and I have to say I have really enjoyed getting him there - which is strange because as some of you may have noted I'm not really a melee player. He's only my third ever melee toon to get to the max and he's already gotten much further ahead than one. One of the odd things about him is the fact he's TW. I don't even know why I bought the set, it was a moment of whim but I have to say I've really enjoyed it. It's rapidly becoming one of my favourite sets in the game but it does need a giant cricket bat weapon please (looking at you Noble Savage! ) But credit to the Devs for something that hooked me from the start, against all my expectations. Now I just want tob e able to play TW and Trick Arrow on the same toon Thanks to everyone for advice and guidance and also to the chaps on Defiant who've helped him get there |
I leveled yesterday to 50 too my TW/Inv Brute.
But I mostly play melee.
GZ.
Grats! I concur on the fun factor of Titan Weapons, I have a new tank I've been fiddling with and he's just funtastic on teams. He puts new meaning to 'Bowling For Council'.
Meanwhile, I finally got a dom past 10 and she's turning out to be pretty special too.
Congratulations! I only got my third 50 in 7 years a week or two ago (SD/WM tanker).
Here's to many more 50s to come!

MArcs:
The Echo, Arc ID 1688 (5mish, easy, drama)
The Audition, Arc ID 221240 (6 mish, complex mech, comedy)
Storming Citadel, Arc ID 379488 (lowbie, 1mish, 10-min timed)
Grats. Now pop some IO's in that TW and watch the damage fly.
You really shouldn't start a thread titled, "So after almost six years of playing..." Out of habit, it makes me think, "Can I have your stuff?"
We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.
(If you love this game as much as I do, please read that post.)
Gratz, Riff!
Arc#314490: Zombie Ninja Pirates!
Defiant @Grouchybeast
Death is part of my attack chain.
I know the feeling. Just started Incarnating my Elec/TW tank and it's already retired my original main Elec/SS.
TW is one of the most smash power sets I've seen and I solo'd the entire Praetorian arc at AV level with it.... except Domi, but she doesn't count.
Grats on 50!
Great name!
(I have Titanothere on another server, specifically created for the release Titan Weapons.)
