Of course, many male players also play female characters exclusively, so the reverse isn't true.

How 'bout ye, female players? I skimmed the thread looking at the answers to that question, and there's an overwhelming preference for female characters. Care to share why you play female characters?
Actually, I did share in my post - I hate the run animation for Male & Huge, although, the grunting is also pretty bad.

I think more than a couple of others shared that they can't find a costume that they like or that the male hairstyles are all dreck (or words to that effect).

For the same reason guys play them. They're nicer to look at! (ba-dum-tish!)

Actually, I tend to identify with my characters. It's cool to get off work and go be super for a while. I tried playing guy toons, really I did. But after laughing at them mostly, I had the problem where I just couldn't identify with them. I couldn't lose myself in the character, or figure out what the character's motivation was, it was frustrating. I couldn't even come up with bios for any of them. It was just a character. It wasn't "me".

Heh. Heheheh. This one's for you, DumpleBerry!

*Ahem*

So... ladies...

*Slicks back hair and produces a rose*

Who's up for a night on the digital town with a man whose name is also an accurate description? No need to hesitate! Please, form yourselves into two groups: group #1 may post in this thread proclaiming my dreaminess, and group #2 may send me a PM privately expressing your pining for one such as me (which you can do via this handy link).

I'll have to take some time between setting up the soft music and installing the mood lighting to reply, but rest assured that all of my lady friends are of equal considerability.

(Disclaimer: I'm not actually a pompous buffoon. But was I serious about the date? Couldn't be... could it? COULD IT???)

I'll go out with you if you let me bring chewing gum and a chainsaw.

Besides the obvious aesthetic advantages that female avatars have over the male ones in the game, I think that females are just intrinsically more interesting/compelling than males, period. I feel this is especially true in a kick-***-and-take-names context like superheroes.

Also: Cute butts.

I used to fiddle with my back feet music for a black onyx. My entire room absorbed every echo. The music was . . . thud like. The music was . . . thud like. I usually played such things as rough-neck and thug. Opaque melodies that would bug most people. Music from the other side of the fence.

I can personally relate in a strange way to human looking female creations, and I mostly tend to stay in my own body limits as much as I can. Not always intended that way but I guess I like to have a normal-esque completion. I suppose being a woman and being all that I know how to be, it's just easier to flow with things rather than the idea of playing a male character.

Also, I am trying to learn the ''slow walk'' for the convention as I might be attending. That's a very sexy, seductive walk. Hard to get down. Hips have to sway just right, posture has to be spot on, and coordination as if on a catwalk must bridge with a natural seam of my figure. Not exactly an easy walk to get down but I'm trying. Once I got it beat to a science I'll be posting a youtube video for fun while also promoting the Cosplay Contest for COH I plan to host in the late spring/early summer.

I just realized that I totally missed an opportunity to use "unresistable" in a sentence, which is my favorite non-word around these parts. Curse you, tongue-in-cheek posts of haste and orneriness!

Well. So much for your being perfect.

If it helps, the model is doing a half-overlap gait (where if you were doing it in place, half the right foot would overlap half the left foot), and one way to study it in slow motion is to make a character do the walk, run into a wall, and let the character walk against the wall. If you get the angle right, she'll walk in place without sliding to the left or right, and you can then observe the walk from all angles except the front.

When the walk first came out, I took some videos of it so I could watch what it did. I deleted them, but its doesn't take long to capture one that's doing what I describe above like so.

It is a very tough walk to reproduce. Good luck.

Thanks for that! I'm going to give it a try and see if I can't get some good feed. I have a nifty prog that lets me capture the animation and port it over with the figure and use points in animation to real time motion to scale it. I've been tinkering for awhile in making my own 3D models/animation. I'll see if I can't work it out through your methods or find a way to merge them.

You rock ville! Much love!

Perfection is a fault - I don't have any.

However, I do harbor Perverse Sexual Lust, from whence comes my might.

I play female toons on almost every game that gives me the option too. I'm just that comfortable with my insane alpha masculinity.

I love the walk animation, specially with a tight skirt and a tail. So mezmerizing!

I've met some pretty hawt furries that didn't dress in giant catsuits or w/e. I love the ones who use creativity to blend the ''animal'' concept into a ''human'' world. Not sure if I'd ever of dared to go out with one, but to each their own!

The walk is smexy tho.

What side do you pick more than others?

Villains. I prefer the archetypes and it's easier to get some of the accolades (Invader, Born in Battle) and there's a lot less zoning. It also has a female top tier that isn't a total ditz (Ghost Widow, though she has her fair share of lapses).

What play style do you prefer?

Buff/Debuff. I've been playing since 2004 and just got my first Blaster to 50 so...

What power set(s) do you favor?

Cold Domination, Mind Control, Defense based "secondaries", Empathy is right up there.

What zones do you like the most?

Redside: St. Martial, the Giza and the nooks and crannies are great.

Blueside: Founders' Falls, Atlas Park for majesty and Kings Row for griminess.

Do you usually play as a male or female (word of hatred) ''toon''?

Entirely dependant on concept. Generally female but if the idea specifies a male then that's what it is.

Views on Role Playing?

No ERP.
RP with people I know or open RP on Virtue when I can join in (not an easy task at times).

Servers?

Champion, Infinity (Red), Exalted, Pinnacle.

Questions about the game, either side? /t @Neuronia or @Neuronium, with your queries!
168760: A Death in the Gish. 3 missions, 1-14. Easy to solo.
Infinity Villains
Champion, Pinnacle, Virtue Heroes
