At last! New telepads

The Issue 22 announcement has a very welcome section. There will be new telepads which allow for 6 destinations instead of 2. This is something that has been desired for years. I am happily anticipating reclaiming large swaths of base floorspace that doesn't need to be taken up with telepads now.

Well, apparently the CC tool doesn't work. So they evidently don't want this tested by anyone.

Lol, my New Year's resolution on this base stuff was to be more grateful, hopeful, and patient. But I gotta admit, it hasn't been easy... both in terms of the long wait for development and the hopefully short wait for character copy so I can to convert inf to prestige for testing in beta.

I have a base on beta with 2 billion prestige from the time we got to test out the rotational tool (yes, that was another item on "the list" that I'm thankful for).

Beacons, with the exception of the Teleport Bay, is unlimited. I would assume (based on the fact I haven't touched Beta yet and current knowledge) that won't change just because a teleporter can house 6 beacons by itself.

I will let you know when I get into Beta and start fidigiting with it.

Got the CCT up and running. Got lazy and only moved about 8 billion inf over for prestige conversion.

Yeah. This is going to simplify my base design.

They need to seriously push that back upto 100 or something.

Oh, there is a new beacon for the New Dark Astoria for both heroes and villains. The old hero DA beacon apparently goes to the Echo.

Salvage is currently identical to the regular telepads.
Energy and Control consumption is currently identical to regular telepads.

Prestige cost is higher though: 22,500
Still, considering you can now get away with 3-4 telepads MAX vs 11-12 on Live?

11 x 15,000 = 165,000
4 x 22,500 = 90,000
